MIYH-quick question for you, i was recently offered the assistant coach position for the varsity softball team here at IC...but i know nothing about softball...

I knew a kid that was Deb's pitching coach his senior year at IC and loved the experience.  She and I never really got along when I was there but if she likes you, I would reccomend you do it JK.

I think Q is right.  Deb can be scary, but she's had some great assistant coaches with her over the years.  You'll learn a lot from her.  Just try and stay on her good side.  Besides, it's probably the best chance for a ring at IC.

JK - The person Q mentioned did pick up a ring along w/ his great experience w/ the girls... it's probably worth it... altough you'll be giving up a good number of weekends late in the spring... keep that in mind.

If you read the Lyco preview in Kickoff you wouldn't think the game will be that close.

They have a first year starting QB and replaced their entire secondary.  Of course, after the year they had last year, that might not be a bad thing to replace.

Stats on this are based upon the ratio of yards gained to the number of containers of vaseline used per game on players uniform.

You need to subtract out tackles behind scrimmage.  Then add back Splooge after hit (SAH).  Divide this by total carries, and you have the Bill James equation, "Splooge Yards per Carry." (SPC)

Subtract out yardage gained without splooge to get the Football Prospectus equation, ISO Splooge.
