hey it was a huge win for the Yankees... they took over the wild card lead and they swept the red sox...it was a huge win for them...if being happy is being obnoxious then I will happily be obnoxious

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

The Yankees announcers are complete bozos.  See the two pitches first.

The whole sweep thing was about as obnoxious as when you'd write things like put it on the board... yes... and stuff when Fisher would win last year.

Sorry about the mets loss, hats.  That was rough. Again.
Thousands of fans join in the revelry, showing their Bomber pride and support for the football team. Some fans take the rowdiness a little too far, however, by starting fights, damaging property and tipping Port-a-Potties. -Ithacan, November 10th

Look, I can see no reason why Joba Chamberlain would throw at Youkilis. He's 21 years old, no scores to settle, it seems to me to be far more likely that nerves played a factor than malice.

The announcers are bozos, but I saw the pitches, and they didn't look like headhunting to me.

the put it on the board was copying a baseball announcer whose name slips me right now and was meant to be annoying

Hawk Harrelson... put it on the board is a great line, but he might be one of the worst announcers in baseball.

Wow... my karma has taken a huge hit for being a yankee fan.... that's not fair

-K for being a baseball fan period....

I'm a D-Rays fan.  But some would rightly argue, that doesn't necessarily make me a baseball fan.  War James Sheilds!
Justin Bieber created 666 false D3 identities to give me negative karma.

cortland +k for admitting that you are a d-rays fan

ummm--sjfc climbing- they were club 20 years ago---
i would put a pretty good importance on the restrooms.
i still cant believe that they werent done when i went to the rowan game last year

Looking at it compared to IC at 77 years or Springfield at 50+ of varsity football

Gosh, IC's program is just approaching middle age compared to the Saxons, who have fielded football teams since 1895, with the exception, of course, of World War II.

While Pep knows better than to compare winning percentage, no doubt the Saxons overall have more football wins in the books than all the others in the E8, and guessing AU is just better than .500 overall for 109(?) seasons.

On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!
...Fight, fight for Alfred, A-L-F, R-E-D!

What is the Port's prognosis for '07?

Another tough schedule with the 6 toughest games being vs. Salisbury, vs. Cortland, @ Ithaca, @Fisher, vs. Springfield, vs. Wesley  :-\  (That's in the first 7 weeks). Zac Luke, the returning Quarterback (was benched last year) must prove himself better this year.  The defense will be tested as the DL seems pretty inexperienced to me.  Garrett Lynch and Matt McCormick will split time at running back, and may be the most solid position on the team.

Special teams will also be an issue as both kickers from last year have left.

Overall,  I think climbing over .500 would be an accomplishment, but I am for some reason very optimistic about this team, and that they may upset at least one of the big guns on the schedule

Lynch is a beast. Unless that other kid is as good as Reile, he shouldn't be splitting time w/ anyone.
