Grastorf goes three and out.  That should settle the Bomber QB situation for at least 7 more days.

Hanson --- 9 carries 126 yards 2 TD's
Reile--- 18 carries 76 yards


That should settle the Cardinal RB situation for the next 7 days as well - unfortunately we all know how that works out.

I wouldn't say that just yet.  Hanson had a great game but Reile was still effective.  4.2 yards per rush is pretty decent.  GO CARDINALS!!

IC Guys, I wouldn't worry too much about Kings.  Their offense looked decent early but they fizzled out pretty fast.  I think it was more the case of Fisher Defense getting settled in.  Stepnick played safety today.  Also the young defensive line is still getting acclimated.  All in all, it sounded as if we played very well all the way around!

Yes, Reile is effective, nobody disputes that. The bottom line is that he should be getting a few carries here and there to spell the starting RB... that is how you use an "effective" back. The same held true last year as this year.

Better back: 14 yds / carry = majority of the load, and not every other series
Effective back 4.2 yds / carry = some carries to help change the pace once in a while

It's not personal man, the kid is out there doing his best for his team, and I don't think anyone including myself can knock him personally. He's talented, there is no doubt. Is he the back that should be splitting time w/ a Mark Robinson? No. Should he be getting the majority of carries this season? Not IMHO.

The point here is not to knock him personally, my intent is to continue to question decisions to do what they're doing with the RB's, both last year & this year. The bottom line is that there are ways to get him the ball in the open field, and they need to find them in order to use his speed. Using him between the tackles isn't the way to do that.

At any rate, it was a solid win for the guys & a good start to the season. Lord knows they could have let what happened to Michigan happen to them today.

Bombers, nice game w/ Juvan today.  300yds 3 tds and a good completion rate.  However ya'll averaged less than 3 yds per carry as a team.  Whats up with that?  New lineman or Lyco D?
