And NSRB shows his age referring to this newfangled tradition of holding those parties on Penn/Kendall.  Back in the glory days, the Circles were still off campus.

thanks for clarifying this....I was confused but didn't want to ask.

Your senior year was the last year of the Circles real.

The freshman my senior year came to a party at the end of Pennsylvania (right in front of our house).  They were welcomed to IC with a barage of water balloons (some of which were filled with Hershey's chocolate sauce) launched out of the darkness from the roof of our house.  They started waiting at the neighbor's house (where they were protected by a stand of trees) and then running alongside passing cars using the cars as cover.

NSRB will be in attendance, but will leave shortly after the game... due to a trip to Marineland.

As for FirstDownClub.com   NSRB is SUPPOSED to get internet today... pending the evilness that is Time Warner doesnt follow through and pull a no-show.  Having that said, just need to find a cheap host, and whallah!  FDC.com website will be up.

JK,  that is no excuse.  NSRB thinks you need to be down to the local watering holes such as CC, TDH, Tower DH, the Pub, Smoothie Hut, Textor Vending Machine and start putting up some fliers that Andrew "Pabst Blue "Presidente` will agree to have posted in these locations.  You also need to be wearing the FDC regulation t-shirt issued to you from now until post-game saterday.

... also,  since you're only taking 9 credits, JK could make a special appearance as a guest speaker at one of the new Freshmen "mandatory" "shared experience" Seminars in textor or in the basement of Dillingham to share some of your experiences with them.

I would suggest asking the Centennial board, but there's never anyone there.

Yea he was great and went above and beyond.  I hated writing 3 papers in a class though for a grade.  I liked Tom Shevory's style a lot better.

You mean, read a couple short books, talk a lot in class and write one paper?  Yeah, I loved politics classes at IC.  Basically if you are loud (and at least somewhat knowledgeable) you can do well.  Not knocking any of the profs either here...Shevory is another great guy.
Marty even let you re-write your papers.  For those of us who decided to procrastinate and hand in a pile of late night scribble deamed knowledgable and meaningful, there was the kindness that was Marty's 2nd Chance.  Lets not forget the Marty Parties... those were about as big as a Freshmen Disorientation gatherings on the end of Penn/ Kendal.

8-12 page papers suck though.  I couldnt get myself to actually learn anything while doing them so I bs'd my way for B+'s the whole time.

Wouldn't every professor basically let you re-write a paper though?

I remember Tecmo being at my first Marty party..... I'd better stop right there in case Mrs. Tecmo reads these things.
