MIYH was it you that sent out reminders to the FDC via Facebook last year?

I believe I gave that duty to high life bomber, since he's a bit more in touch with the current students than I am from a couple time zones away.

WICB Sports

WICB's coverage of Bombers football starts on Saturday with Countdown to Kickoff at 12:30 p.m., hosted by Robert Schroeder and Evan Heidenrich.  Mike Welch joins the two hosts on the show, and wide reciever Brian Hogan is this week's highlighted player.

At 1 p.m., Michael Polak and Dan Cassavaugh have the call of the game from Butterfield Stadium.

Immediately after the game, Lee Small and David Portney host Bombers Postgame, and they're taking your calls.  Please give us a call at 607-274-3217 and give us your thoughts on the Bombers Week 2 action.  We'll have live player and coach interviews from the field and scoreboard updates during Bombers Postgame.

On Sunday night, we'll recap the game on Sports Talk from 6-7 p.m.  Head coach Mike Welch joins hosts Paul Cataldo and Neil Young, as well as Saturday's key players live in studio.

Not that anyone asked me but . . .

I predict IC will crush Kings - 42 - 10.

Yes, I think IC is that good.

PG- Nice work on the 2am post.  While MIOH has never been to J-Ville for the World's Largest Cocktail Party... He was there for a conference.  That weekend lowers the median age of J-Ville citizens by about 30 years.  Have fun at Alltel.  That should be a great game.

I will certainly be there.

What hotel are you staying in?  We usually stay at the Omni that is right next door to The Landings.  (In case you hadn't heard, the Landings is a large, open-air bar/restaurant area right on the river where everyone gathers Fri and Sat night.  There will generally be 145678909876543456789 wasted co-eds grinding in the center area while a wasted Jose pours beer on people from the upper level.

Our tailgate spot is on the south side of the stadium two lots from the gate between two highway overpasses.  A good spot to see the team busses roll in, make fun of UGA fans for being totally unable to beat Florida, and check out UGA girls, who may be the hottest in the SEC.

Edit: I should warn you in advance PG, while it is generally never acceptable to wear jorts in public, make a special point to avoid jorts at Florida-Georgia.  UGA fans do nothing but chant "Gators wear Jean Shorts."  It's all they got left to taunt us with.

I am also fairly certain this photograph will be discussed amongst the UGA faithful:

Ha Ha!!!! Nice Jorts T-Bow

I guess it's ok to wear jorts and hold hands with another man... as long as you win a national title.

Correction, they aren't holding hands.  They are both holding the same football.  Tebow's hands are just so big you can't see the football.

In unrelated news, the media-whores that are the FDC are already back in the Ithacan.

http://theithacan.org/am/publish/sportscolumn/Bombergear_is_all_around_us.shtml

"Sort of like a Hanes tag-less tee meets the First Down Club, it's South Hill's answer to the double popped collar at Cornell. "

I like that the current students have the impression that the FDC has been around forever.  This is a good thing.
