Nice little preview up on the Kings website for this weekends game

Was that '92 home NCAA playoff game the last one at Butterfield?

I am pretty sure the Bombers had a home playoff game in Welch's first year...1994.  But not since then.

I bet if we were playing SC at home that day in 1992 we would have gladly played the JV game in Butterfield.

That preview is pretty neat.
Average scores after 6 games: Ithaca 31.33   Kings  6.5

in other news... NSRB will be running a little late on Saterday.  He has just been awarded the duty of being one of the judges in the NY Concrete Mixer Rodeo at Onieda Shores at 8am.  (should be over by 12 noon at the latest) Here's hoping that there are no troopers between Brewerton and Cortland saterday morning.  (not much NSRB can do about this... it is work)

Now NSRB isnt sure Ithaca fans are gonna take to this COAL burning thing to well.  Seriously... look what happened when students found out Sodexho Marriott was involved with private prisons.  I sincerely hope that Kings know what they're in for when they come to Butterfield... a buncha angry, sustainable energy loving, monarchy hating, football frenzied, red shirtted opposing team taunting, hippies.

Yea we played Buff St. at home in the first round, and then lost to W&J at home in the semifinals.

And Im pretty sure the IC JV played Kings JV or varsity in 96 or 97.  Either way it was Kings college.  (Looks like BC)

Jose,

I'm finally going to take in the World's largest Cocktail part--- er the Georgia-Florida game this year.  Maybe I'll see you amongst the 100,000 people  :D,

I will certainly be there.

What hotel are you staying in?  We usually stay at the Omni that is right next door to The Landings.  (In case you hadn't heard, the Landings is a large, open-air bar/restaurant area right on the river where everyone gathers Fri and Sat night.  There will generally be 145678909876543456789 wasted co-eds grinding in the center area while a wasted Jose pours beer on people from the upper level.

Our tailgate spot is on the south side of the stadium two lots from the gate between two highway overpasses.  A good spot to see the team busses roll in, make fun of UGA fans for being totally unable to beat Florida, and check out UGA girls, who may be the hottest in the SEC.

Edit: I should warn you in advance PG, while it is generally never acceptable to wear jorts in public, make a special point to avoid jorts at Florida-Georgia.  UGA fans do nothing but chant "Gators wear Jean Shorts."  It's all they got left to taunt us with.

I am also fairly certain this photograph will be discussed amongst the UGA faithful:

Thanks for the info.  The funny thing is, I'm going with a Georgia Grad and another friend.  That will be pretty interesting.  Definitely will not be wearing Jorts.

But I will root for Florida to P*$$ him off...

If you want to piss him off remind him that UF has won 15 of the last 17 meetings dating back to 1990 when a certain Old Ballcoach showed up in a certain city in Central Florida.

Under 53.5 tonight!
Thousands of fans join in the revelry, showing their Bomber pride and support for the football team. Some fans take the rowdiness a little too far, however, by starting fights, damaging property and tipping Port-a-Potties. -Ithacan, November 10th

glad you appreciated that JQV.  I thought for sure I'd get some more feedback.

in other news.  Go Colts.  had me worried for a little while, but 41-10 explains itself. As for tomorrow... I've been waiting for this day since that miserable afternoon in November of last year.

almost quoting the IC Republican's poster "... your nuremburg is coming"

Kings, your Bastille Day is coming.  tomorrow @ 1pm.
... thats how Kings roll.
