I thought Lynch looked pretty good today though, although the Broncos defense is a huge question mark.  Local sports radio has been ripping them a new one for a month now.

Just got back from the Bills game, god does this team just know how to find a way to lose a game.....

JP is probably one of the worst QB's at reading a Defense, its either throw it deep to the outside or in the flats....

You can't pin this on JP - the defense couldn't sac up and stop them on 2 (count 'em, two) fourth downs that final drive.

What's the significance of the guy on the phone as your image?

RE: Lynch

He's going to be very good if they can ever keep the defense honest with some sort of a passing game.

I wouldnt put this on the D either as they were on the field WAY too much, only 180yds of offense for the Bills??

The broncos should of put up at least 30pts with 400plus yds of offense, the defense did a good job of keeping them out of the endzone and yet the offense scores just 7pts.

oh and i met ESPN's woody paige....

he's a good guy, said he was impressed with the Bills for the most part and that they need just a few more pieces to be a really good team....

Should the bills consider signing Byron Leftwich.... good arm... has to be better than JP...

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

While I agree JP should be a lifelong backup, the O-line needs to give him more than 1 second to survey the field, and the also need to give Lynch at least some sort of hope while running up the middle.

Do we get a little Madden action tonight in Dallas?

Actually the O-line played pretty well, they opened some holes up for lynch and the two sacks he took were from Lynch missing a block and an overload blitz to the weakside...

Save the TD run, it seemed like every time Lynch touched the ball he got pounded right at the LOS.

TecmoPicks:

1-0 posted on the season.

Let's take Houston minus the three, and Carolina +2 this afternoon.

Record moves to 3-0 on the year. Yeah baby, I love the NFL!  Why not press our luck with the Giants, and a half unit parlay on Giants/Under. Romo came back to life last year, and is not going to be pushed by Wade Phillips of all people.  Eli out to prove Tiki wrong, and Jacobs getting a shot at more carries. I like the seven points, and the G-Men to keep it close.

Any word on the status of Vanderstyne & Bileki (sp?)?

Are we expecting a good turnout from the E8 Nation Saturday?

tecmobowler

Well that was a quick TD.  I think folks may chuckle in a couple months when they see that Dallas was a seven point favorite against anyone.

Still early though.

A few more thoughts after seeing some of the Bomber replay today..

The secondary is as well-rounded as it's been in quite some time.  Samela looks to be the real deal at cornerback, while Cheir will certainly get good press for his two picks.

The defensive line is the best I've seen it ever (I started at IC in 1999).  Goetz and Drescher are the real deal at the ends, and we're going to be blessed to have them for a few years.  Byers is incredible.

Linebacker may be the one spot that makes me a bit nervous.  Scalice is the leader of the defense, and a beast.  That being said, I think the outside's are still figuring out what they're doing in the 3-4 at times, and are missing some coverages.

Juvan is certainly improving, but still shows shades of locking in on a receiver, especially on third down and in big spots.

Weverbergh will lead the team in passing yards by a wide margin this year.  He seems to be the real deal.
