Fisher has yet to be tested... I think that if they trully handle UofR... Bud should have a hard time putting springfield above fisher... I guess I come from the school that the Champion is the champion untill they are beaten...

MIOH agrees that Springfield ahead of SJF is a bit of a surprise... but having 'Bart with a loss already ahead of Alf doesnt agree w/ MIOH.  

Also - I know Cortland lost Alex Smith but... wait a sec, was I just about to defend Cortland... nevermind.

Fisher was not the champion last year...and Honestly I probably did not pay much attention to it... In my opinion the team that won the east region should be #1 untill they prove that they don't deserve it... a team can do that by losing a game or playing a very close game against a team that it should not be close

The Ithacan has a quote that said Bam Bam is expected to start in the Fisher game.  I wonder if those are his hopes, the team's hopes or both.  Hope it works out!

I was a little surprised myself.  But even I can't really complain.  Springfield is very good and so is Fisher.  That game will be very tight I believe.  The rest of the poll is whats really odd.  Alfred and C-State should both be much higher in my opinion.  Union and Hobart should be down near the bottom.  My rankings to this point would look something like this:

Union shouldnt be ranked....

Hobart should be a bit lower....

Rowan is just about right....

Alfred & Cortland should be higher....
