ok this is a great week for Alfred Proving that they belong in the top of the E8.... Springfield is now going to have a very hard time making the playoffs because they know have 3 very very tough games vs. the e8 regulars and they have to win all 3 to make the playoffs...is Hartwick that good or is Ithaca struggling...


and Jose... I don't remember making the post about the rivalry...if I actually said that one team doesn't have to ever win to make a rivalry then I was wrong...

and If I remember correctly the post regarding Rowan last year was the fact is Rowan was the reiging champion but they had already given us reason to expect them to struggle... and when I say what I said was for the first few weeks in a season...and obivoulsy I was right because Springfield lost today...

Next week will determine much more to this puzzle with Alfred hosting Springfield and Ithaca hosting Fisher.  This could become a 2 horse race or be right back to all 4 teams fighting for positioning.  Next Saterday should be very exiting!!!

IC updates?  

Tough loss for Springfield.  It hurts them for an at-large bid.  But they still have the conference games so they obviously still have a shot at an auto-bid.

Alfred looks to be the real deal.  Like I said before, I think they have the talent to do alot of damage this year and in the NCAA playoffs.

IF Ithaca loses, they are in big trouble.  It would be awfully tough to run the rest of the conference table against Fisher, Springfield, and Alfred.  But stranger things have happened.  But I'm sure they will find a way to pull it out today against Wick.
