Jose,

I have to say I am a bit disappointed.  I just read back on the past 7 pages or so and if you mean it or not you sound pretty malicious and a touch egocentric.  I look most forward to the Ithaca-Fisher game but I really don't like how you just blatantly call Ithaca the king of the hill that everybody looks too.  Since the creation of the E8 Fisher has done better than Ithaca and you can't really dispute that.  Fisher has never had a losing record in the E8, and has done more in the playoffs.  You guys are also so quick to point out the demise of other schools such as Brockport or Buff State but remain blind to the fact your last national championship was nearly 20 years ago and you guys are not on the elite level any longer, just a very good progam same as Fisher, Springfield, etc.  Annnnnyway I have to go for now, but I will be back on later to check your response.  I assume it has to turn ugly since this is the week Fisher plays Ithaca but it just seemed a bit overly harsh, and my comments may seem that way as well but that's not the intended reaction.

See the thing is, I am not trying to get people to say "God Fisher is undoubtably the team to beat and will be for the next 50 years"  I just want the Ithaca people to stop.  RPI people don't talk like that, Hobart people don't, Union people don't.  It's the Ithaca ones.  Why?  Because they draw on the national championships that happened so many years ago.  If you take those away and just go by what they have actually done for the past 10 years they are a very good program same as the other ones I listed above, but no real reason to act as arrogant as they do at times.  I like the Ithaca posters I really do, it's just the arrogance thing that gets to me.  This will all blow over as it frequently does after the game is played, maybe everybody just has to air out their aggressions.  I'm ok with that.

Honestly I have to agree somewhat with what Booby is saying here.  In years past, I would come on this board talking crap and things of that nature.  I decided enough was enough, and to give IC the credit and respect they deserve as a program.  But it seems as if, Jose, in particular, loves to make comments that get under the skin of us Fisher posters.  IC is the "king of the hill" and every team gets up for them.  Teams get up for Fisher, Springfield, and AU just the same.  Kramer is the first "legit QB in Fisher history."  I take offense to that man.  I played with some pretty damn good QB's at Fisher in Greg Roland and Curt Fitzpatrick.  Fisher needs to win for much longer to not be considered a "flash in the pan" program.  Pointing out Brockport and Buff State.  You ever think that maybe IC is headed down that same road to mediocrity?

Just give us some respect.

Had to get that off my chest after reading pages of comments about Fisher.  I know its a free country and we can say what we want, but come on now.  This is all I have to say on the subject and I'm finished cause its pretty stupid but I feel like I have to defend the program a little.

Cant wait for this weekend!  Go Cardinals!

but pep was not making a comment Alfred-Ithaca he was in fact making a comment about Fisher-Ithaca...so it still proves my point

Pep was inquiring as to why Fisher fans are so obsessed with calling its annual contest with Ithaca a "rivalry." Pep surmises that Fisher fans would like to think their program has risen to the height of South Hill and play at the same level.

Pep contends that Alfred plays at the highest level of any New York State football program as Merrill Field is at about 1762 feet.

First let me laugh at everyone who said whats interesting about the hartwick/ithaca game...

second, Since IC already has a conference loss Im rootin for them to knock off SJF this weekend to give SJF a conference loss too.  If Springfield wins, They will be the last conference team without a conference loss after only week three...

Not that it means a whole lot, it would just be a nice position to be in with SJf and IC both already had one.

hey getting off topic a little... everyone should go to www.vote756.com the guy who bought Bonds 756 is letting the public decide what to do with the ball...

A) Give it to the Hall of Fame
B) Mark it with an asterik and then send it to the Hall of Fame
C) Blast it to the moon

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Hartwick will not have a conference loss after this week (which is actually Week 4) either. Norwich won't have a conference loss, nor will Utica.

So this one time at Band Camp....

This one time at Alfred, me and my buddy got a $5 Pizza at Uni-Mart and dropped it on our way up to our dorm.  Needless to say with us being lineman and drunk we still ate it.

Pep was attending the Sectional Finals at the Blue Cross Arena in Rachacha on a freezing cold Friday night in March. Following the game, Pep, when in Rachacha, likes to visit Krispy Kreme for a free hot one....and did. In fact, Pep bought a dozen for the morning. While getting into the PepBandWagon, Pep set the dozen on top of the van and proceeded to clean some garbage out of the vehicle. As it was cold, Pep quickly hopped in and took off. Moments later, on I-390, Pep inquires, "Who's got the dozen donuts?" Dang it.

Next day, Pep took the same crew back to the War Memorial for five Saturday Sectional Finals. After the finale, Pep makes another stop at Krispy Kreme (of course, this was back when Pep weighed 215 lbs.). This time, Pep is sure to put the donuts safely inside the van. While going up the ramp to I-390, Pep spots a Krispy Kreme box on the roadside, pulls over, gets out and picks up the dozen donuts from the night before...eight of which were smooshed with a tire track on the box, the other four in fine shape, frozen. Pep took them home and some members of Pep's family ate the four donuts the next morning for breakfast.  :P
                        does donuts

Pep, you would of made a fine offensive lineman with that attitude!

AUPepBand

Had Pep ever played football, he'd have been a wide receiver. But A-A did not have football, so Pep played soccer, basketball and, eventually, ran track.

Pep's track experience was far greater than ever expected, as the Eagles won the school's first-ever Section V track title Pep's senior year. That was back when they ran a quarter mile, half mile, mile and two mile....none of the metric stuff.

A moment of silence for Pep...Krispy Kreme has left the county.......closed...done...NO MORE!

Sorry this was all I could come up with after reading the last nine pages.....

A few thoughts on the SJF-U of R telecast.......Kramer has a pretty remarkable "touch" to the corner of the end zone......Samela and Chier will be waiting...

Hanson has incredible balance and sees the field pretty well, not Robinson's smash mouth size, but quick and elusive.....and the O-Line is HUUUGGGGEEEEE!!!!!!

That having been said, I see this as more a game between the linemen than any place else.....on both sides of the ball......and I don't miss Lang....but I think Fisher does....

There, this years players......no history lessons, no smack talk.....I think this game will rival the last one at Butterfield and I don't see the wheels coming off of either squad with TO's, etc.

This is OUR HOUSE.....and NOBODY...and I MEAN NOBODY.....

I meant a conference loss out of the big 4 as I am not too concerened with the usual basement dwellers of the E8 altho after the performance by IC maybe I should be.

Did you get caught in the melee on Friday night when the arena was shut down?
