Semesters was open until after my freshman season.  I have fond memories of hitting on anything that was older than me and walking up the hill one faitful night back to campus.  The back room and the football groupies, oh to be a freshman again.

Castaways was a double edged sword because I promoted those parties and couldn't have any adult beverages.  Lots of groupies but sober jamie, plus the ex gf was always lurking

I'm surprised I didn't hear mention of the Crooked Board (R.I.P.) in Slaterville in the wing discussion.  14 bucks for all-you-can-eat wings and all-you-can-drink draft beer, lots of Cornell women to look at, lots of terrified Cornell boys to make fun of, and a bartender that had a crush on me and always rushed my wing orders.

ahhhh the crooked board.  +K enforcer.  Wednesday nights, right?  As long as we could convince someone to drive (way out to the sticks) the board was always a nice wednesday.  Especially in the fall and spring when it was warm, the back deck was very nice.

Does anyone remember a place called the Blue Moon Diner that is on the highway you take north from the Scranton area and is about 20 miles before Ithaca?  KS remembers stopping there a couple of times while heading out towards Allegheney state park on camping trips.

Yup, Wednesday nights.  It was best over the summer when it wasn't so crowded with Cornellians and it was just a bunch of rednecks playing horseshoes and trying to stick dollar bills to the ceiling.  The Cornell people always made for a good laugh, though - once someone dared me to yell "Cornell sucks!" at the top of my lungs and of course I did - made for a very tense moment.  Especially because I know all the Slaterville folks from when I used to work at the Old 76 (I owe a beer to anyone who's been) and they all had my back.

It's all a thing of the past, though.  I heard from some of the people out there that the place closed down, and I checked their website (http://www.angelfire.com/hi/crookedboardtavern/) - sure enough.  The owner has Parkinson's and it was pretty serious - I met him a few times at the 76.  Word is he just got tired of running the joint.  Cryin' shame, though.

I live in Spencer now and there's some awesome bars out here.

NSRB- "Wings over-rated"  They are garbage!  Go to ICO if you want wings

Little late on this, but the tap room has the best wings in Ithaca, imo.  .25 Wednesdays were great.  And getting wasted there with MIOH and the 40 year-old mullet sporting townies for our bowling league banquet was one of the great memories of senior year.  Just wish Tecmo could've joined us.

Hey MIYH:

Safe travels this weekend...glad you can get back to Bomberland for a game.

Just wondering if Pep should put himself up for bid....for a visit to either ManInYellowHat/MountainManLand or JoseQViperGulfCoasterLand. Who's willing to put up the airfare?  ???

Pep's karma dropping ... whodunit?

Budcrew getting some WICB love.  Nicely done.  Now, how many times can you drop E8PP into your segment...we'll be listening and counting.

Hopefully not at all -- I would hope we're talking about news and not posting.

If streams max out, you can also watch the game on D3Cast. It is a live retransmission of the ICTV feed, so it won't be anything Ithaca fans wouldn't be watching already, but it gives us the ability to push the game out to a larger audience.
