SJFF82, PG04 came on in July or something and asked if anyone would be interested in doing the pole...Upstate and I each expressed intrest...we then decided to do one person per school...since Upstate and I couldn't decide who should do it we decided that we would do a combined vote...he and I talk back and forth on saturday night and decide on what we think the best top 10 is...

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Was just checking out the East Region Fan Poll board for the first time...someone please explain...when and where do 'we' vote?

It's a combination of "ten" posters of varying alliances (including myself) around the east region that do a poll and send it to me to compile and post.  It's a good way of breaking down the region, as well as showing posters from other regions who we think are the best teams of the region.

I think it's worked out fairly well so far.

Should Wilfork get suspended?

Can you make it even more obvious your putting your forearm into the kids knee, not that i was pro JP anyways-it could be the best thing to happen to this team.  Thats just typical NE and Bellicheat.....

gimme a break.  The kid was pushed and put his arm up to brace his fall.

pg04

Though he was indeed pushed, I do think you can see a motion, made on purpose, to strike the knee (The elbow perks up a directs right towards the knee).   Give me a break if you can't see THAT.

So you are calling him a cheap artist?  What do you think his intent was?  Ive seen that video 25 times from every angle.  Wilfork had no other way to fall unless he put his arm out.  When someone falls, they put their arms out to brace the fall.  You dont know what he did or didnt do on purpose. If he didnt put his arm out, he would have landed on his head.  Why would you want to knock Losman out of the game anyway?

Good point about Losman...however, if noone else knows what his intent was...How the heck to proclaim to know that it wasnt intentional as your post indicates?

pg04

Losman still is the starter.  He may not be any good, but he is STILL BETTER THAN A ROOKIE IN HIS THIRD GAME!!

(Sorry, I'm a little touchy --- it is altogether possible that it wasn't intentional; However, it looks intentional to me)

To me it seemed like it was an unintentional act.  I am a Giants fan so im not partial to either party involved.  Its football, and obviously things like this happen every season.  I highly doubt that a player would attempt to injure, and possibly end someones career, by going for their knee.  I agree that he was simply trying to break his own fall.

Although, like someone said, we will never truly know for sure.

You are right.  I dont know.  But I do know that when someone falls, they put their hands out so they dont land on their heads.  And although I dont know Wilfork personally, he does not seem like the type of guy to do something like hurt a qb in a stupid play like that.

You mean like when Fisher's offensive coordinator left for U of R last year and people thought the offense would fizzle? I think they've survived that blow...

That's revisionist history. I think most people around Fisher were happy to see him go. Outside of Fisher, I don't think anyone had an opinion of it.

And look at Notre Dame!  They didnt need Willingham or his players! Look what Charlie Weiss did for them last year!  oh wait............

By the way, you Bills fans crack me up. All winter/spring/summer, I had to listen to my Bills fans friends tell me how JP had made "the leap" and was so much better than Eli now.

Three games into the season, many of those same fans are now lauding the beginning of the Trent Edwards Era. It's only been three games. All three teams are markedly better than Buffalo. All three have a good chance to make the playoffs. Give the guy a break. Edwards is nowhere near ready to be the starter (though I do think he'll be good).
