Pep,

Talked to Jordan this weekend.  Seems as though he and Frost will be coming to visit me in oct. as i am throughing a lil shindig.  We'll probably sit around the living room, drink tea, and discuss our latest books we've read.

I like the around the region "shout out" to the ithaca posters from this past weekend.  "Ithaca posters were posting as if their dog had just died."

That is a great analogy.  I think we have that emptiness and confused feelings in our stomachs.  All these questions and no idea what the future holds.

Dubbz may miss opening tail gate ceremonies this saterday as he will be setting up new electrical devices in Lady Dubbz Kitchen.   If I am fried and no one heres from me...
GO BOMBERS!  NSRB please carry on my Cheerleader Toe Touches after Touchdown Traditional Chant.

Mets lead over the Phils down to 1 game as Met bullpen can't get anybody out.  I can't imagine what Mets fans are feeling right now.

Hungover... and not happy about being at work.

appliances can wait.  you can cook indoors all winter.. you have only so many opportunities to tailgate and BBQ a year.

Pep, NSRB did a stint in the Ithaca Pep Band, it clearly was no match from the Pre-FDC section from where I had come from... my goal was to combine the 2 groups into one massive opposing team distracting monster... well that didnt work.  I got a free "sweet ride" to Cortaca when they sold out my sophmore year in the Ithaca Pep Bandwagon... they had no idea I would dissappear after halftime back into the cheering section, never to return again.  ... thanks for the ride!

As for the Mets...                                                      ...and thats all I have to say about that.

It was either do that or have to go to Ra-cha-Cha and miss the Game all together.  Its Lady Dubbz Alumni game and the excuse to miss it was "well i have to get this done and saterday is the only day to do it!  I will even be missing the Bomber GAME!!"  Dubbz was excused from trip to rochester.

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Awesome, I'm glad you're excited. :)

Pat - I echo FA05's comments.  Very excited about all of those games.  Nice job taking a cross section of the East region.  I think the Trinity / Middlebury game could be very interesting to all of us who generally say we know virtually nothing about those teams.

Oh- guys i caught the rebroadcast of the IC game yesterday on my local time warner---we have talked the game to death but i wanted to give kudos to the ICtv crew---not a half bad job.   Good coverage. I was impressed.

They do a very good job.  It's a very well run program and the students work their way up throughout the years.  There is a lot of emphasis placed on professionalism and doing things the way a "real" production would be done as opposed to some of the other student run shows.  ICTV and especially Bombers Football and the News has put out a large number of broadcasters in NY and around the region.

Ugghh.  This is not looking good.  They are trying to lose it.  Not only am I a Met fan but at work we are selling the playoffs on TBS and if the Mets don't make it we're losing a lot of potential $$.

Pep thought Jordan had given up drinking tea.  :-\

Pep would enjoy sitting in on your discussion of literary works, working at the (newly renovated) library and all. But Sarge, there's only so much you can discuss about Curious George.

NSRB also thinks we met in Utica on a cold rainy Saterday a couple years ago with OrangeHat.  Pep was in the area to see some family NSRB thinks.

Dubbz.. "tough day to be a bomber?"  Did I miss something?

ClimbingFisher... thanks for agreeing. Though we may be the only ones who see it, I agree.  I still find it funny that you fellas look at this team as being better than last year.  Maybe so... and the numbers might prove that.. but after seeing the force that was ST JOHN FISHER FOOTBALL come out in the 2nd half last year and completely destroy Bomber Nation I feel that the team last year played better than this year.

... I might need to seek some additional couch time on Post Patterns to talk it out.

Fisher05... lets agree.. to disagree =)
Count me in on those that think SJF was better on the field last year to date.

I haven't seen/read anything yet this season that points to SJF's 2007 squad being as good or better than the 2006 vintage (at least not yet).  That's sort of a subjective call that you can make an argument for either way - especially with such a small number of actual games played to date and the fact that SJF has played teams with a combined 3-10 record.  The IC win so far is really the only thing that stands out.

Personally, even with all the returning players they have back this season, Mark Robinson was such a great back that you can't lose him to graduation and not have some drop off.  I know Reile has some good numbers, but MR was one of those special "all time great/HOF caliber" players you can't really "replace."
I hear ya...except every player at this level is replaceable...just ask Mt Union who has been doing it for...ever!

I switched it from budcrew08 to dewcrew88, since Dale Earnhardt Jr. is all ready to go with the No. 88 Amp'd National Guard Chevrolet in 2008. Upstate (I believe) came up with the nickname, I liked it and went with it.
