Re: D3Cast Oct. 27 at Middlebury

If I can get away from the chains that is copy-editing at my day job, I'm going to try to get out to Middlebury for this game. (My gf has family that live in Middlebury).

I'm available to do analysis  ;D

Hamilton beat Colgate 28-7 with running time in the second half. They mustve had around 10 sacks, and allowed nearly no rushing yards. Also, the  Colgate score was towards then end of the game. It was pretty lopsided throughout

I'd imagine you know how the scrimmage went, since you're listed on the Hamilton roster.

Not a Nick Gatto sighting, but we could have something here.

bud drew- or dew crew- whicheve moniker you use--very nice article in the around the region.  Well thought out and writte.

And oh btw----GO SOX!

I switched it from budcrew08 to dewcrew88, since Dale Earnhardt Jr. is all ready to go with the No. 88 Amp'd National Guard Chevrolet in 2008. Upstate (I believe) came up with the nickname, I liked it and went with it.

S73,
Amp'd is a energy drink that Mountain Dew (PepsiCo) produced. I would never touch the stuff myself, but I guess it's something like Mountain Dew on steroids.

dc88,

AHA,  Another modern innovation I'm glad I didn't know about.  Thanks for the info and keep up the good work.

Highly doubt that Hamilton College beat Colgate even in a scrimmage.  Just doesn't seem possible to me.  Colgate, in the past, has been a very good 1-AA team, and is still pretty decent I think.

Hartwick is good at getting garbage yards and TDs....

Last time SJF visited Hartwick (2005) it was 70-41, Hartwick had 464yds of offense....

Last season at SJF, Crea took their first posession 63yds for a TD and ended up with 70net yards rushing in a 57-16 win.  In that game they scored 23pts in the first quarter despite only having the ball for 2min 32sec.

This year....

yeah they're too talented to keep them out of the endzone for the entire game.....

They'll get some pts and yards but not untill the game is decided....

Wouldn't exactly call all their yards against Ithaca as garbage yards.
