In all seriousness, this fan of d3 is not the first to criticize the regulars of E8Nation by claiming they discourage new members.  I think this criticism is mislaid for two reasons.

1) The new members that get blasted out of the gate generally get blasted because they sign up just to make outrageous predictions and lob insults.

2) Regular posters are just as hard on other regular posters when they make the same kind of insane statements.

Have I many any predictions or lobbed any insults? I think not.

As far as coming out of the wood work it's kind of tough to have relavent input when your team isn't relevant. The memebers of the gang of 4 are just upset that someone else is at the party

man...talk to dewcrew or PG04 both back not great teams and we don't give either of them slack...a lot of fisher posters got slack last year when fisher made it to MUC and they were coming in here talking trash

As we have been concentrating on the HC v IC and SJF games, no one has asked why HC had such a hard time v Husson.  HC could have lost that game to quite a low rated team. 

Because Boltus went out at the start of the 4th quarter cramping up and never returned. Will not pretend we got crap without him, but I'm sure there are a few teams out there like that.

I wouldn't say you're at the party. You may be outside, peeking in our E8 Nation windows, Watching Pep and his AU Pep band chill out in the VIP room with cigars as they sit watching in amazement at how many hot Bomber girls Jose has around him, but even more amazed as to why Tags is a Fisher guy but is dating their bomber chics captain... but you're not inside yet.

You've lost a game, as have Fisher and Springfield. IC has lost two, but may run the table and make a charge at it --- IMHO Alfred won't go unscathed either. Let's see how things shake out before we let you come through.

And that right there is one of the stupid things you can say early on to attract negative attention to you.  First off you can always give relevant information to your team on here if they aren't at the top of the league (i.e. how recruiting is going, what they are doing to make improvements, key players to watch) you know basically all the stuff you guys are trying to say now of why you are all of a sudden soooo good.  The second part of that statement of how the "gang of 4" are just upset that someone else is at the party....well that's just so stupid I won't even bother to analyze.

Our one loss is outside conference, granted to a team we should not have lost to. Win or lose to AU and we still have a shot with only Springfield as a serious threat. I believe that Springfield is too one dimensional to be a contender this year. If you can stop Sharpe from running, handing off to Sharpe or passing to Sharpe their very beatable
