TGP has done some statistical analysis on the Saxons and has determined that the Pep Band may actually be causing AU to get into penalty issues (probably b/c the team is listening to the band and forgetting the snap count).

AU is currently averaging 100/yds a game in penalties.

http://www.alfred.edu/athletics/football/TEAMCUME_013.HTM

TGP wonders how many of these are caused by noisy kazoos?

As bass drummer, Pep is responsible for at least 45 yards of penalties per game for unsportsmanlike late hits.

To be fair, most of those penalty yards are against Keeley and Hendrix due to the new Personal Foul: Excessive Scoring rules that the NCAA instituted...

Pep,

How about the other new rule - allowing excessive playing time for the 2nd and 3rd team players? ;)

Speaking of Hartwick, where the hell did all their posters go?  Was this a one-day phenomenon?

Not rid of us yet ... but man i get goin on this thing and i dont get any work done.  I have to limit my exposure to the board...

There are still a few 'Wick fans out there.  I agree with BoSox on this one...you can really get going on these things.  It should be a good one this Saturday at Merrill Field.

who else is guessing that Yanks99 is either:

a)  Corey, Hartwick LB with a new name

or

b)  One of the Hartwick ppl with fake emails that Pat was speaking of, that finally came up with a new emails address.

That has been a problem as well. Pep is getting looks at backup QB Josh Shoemaker, a Troy boy who went to Albany Academy.

After the St. Lawrence game, Pep saw Keeley in the library (he's a regular here) and told him he played well in the first half but he didn't do ANYTHING in the second half.

Definately not...it just took me a while to finally get my account rolling because my spam filter was blocking the emails from D3.com.sports.  Just a big D3 fan with loyalties to 'Wick..but with a great appreciation for the Empire 8.

So why the loyalties to Hartwick, Yanks? You raise mountain goats?

I seem to know a little of everyone around the D3 land...but been to the Oneonta area a few times...

Hope to be there...long drive...and my wife is actually sick right now.  As long as she is good to go...we should be there.  Hell...she loves these games as much as I do.  I get yelled at if I don't have Yanks tickets lined up when we head to NYC.
