As far as whoever it was that posted about A-Rod's postseason failures, which are grossly exaggerated, I offer this potential game story paragraph that I got from FJM:

Alex Rodriguez started the series 0 for 6 in the first two games in Cleveland, but when the chips were down and his team needed him most, he dug down deep and bounced back with four hits in Games 3 and 4, including a gargantuan home run Monday night that drew his team within striking distance. Despite these herculean efforts from the best player in the game, the Yankees could not overcome a late, dramatic GIDP by series goat Derek Jeter, his third of the series in only seventeen at bats. Jeter, a reliable on base presence in the two hole during the regular season, looked uncomfortable all series long, never getting into a groove and finishing with a 0.176 OBP with no walks in the series.

Wait one second here.  Did you say his postseason faliures are grossly exaggerated?  They are simply gross.  0-6 in the first two games! Then 4 hits over 2 more games?  That makes him 4 for 15.  That is bad enough.  But lets look at his other years....

2006- 1 for 14
2005- 2 for 15
2004- 8 for 19 and then 8 for 31 in the ALCS?

Those my friend or horrible numbers.

Max as much as I want to defend Arod...I can't he's been cursed since the 2004 ALCS... no excuses here...he is the best regular season player out there...but he puts too much pressure on himself...

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

I'd say that the pep band's greatest strength is in not being officially affiliated with the music department.  What we lack in tone, rhythm and direction we more than make up for in exuberance and attentiveness to the game.

On Saxon Warriors!

that is the same reason the FDC has had so much success.  NOT being affiliated with the school.

as for Ithaca/ Fisher likeness to Yankee Redsox posts....  NSRB thinks you're just jealous that you dont get that kind of attention. ... jk.  its does get old, nsrb is sure.

Ok so we have the Alfred posters who are all in their own world...and have all sorts of conversations with themseleves...

We have the one springfield poster who feels like the kid who got picked last in kickball...when he used to be the big boy on the playground...

Then we have Yanks and Bosox...who are new hartwick posters but they are ok they know what they are talking about... and then we have admiral who is along the same lines of the one springfield poster...

Then their are the Fisher and Ithaca posters...they dominate the E8PP so guess what the talk is going to be about Fisher and Ithaca...as the RPI posters would say It's Science

Then we have the ever-precipitous poster Superman57 who'd do well to click the "preview" option a few times prior to clicking "post."
But Pep admits that's probably not Superman57's style.

KS thinks ARod has had one good postseason series since his career started.  That was a couple of years ago in the ALDS against the Twins.  Other than that he has sucked monkey balls.

Monkey stomped?  Monkey Balls?  What is the simian obsession on these message boards.  "Sucked monkey balls" did make me chuckle though...

Check out the official card game of the AU Pep Band - Str8 Eight!

Anyone know if the AU game will be webcast today?

7-0 Port early and an SC fumble gives the ball back to Port 11 to go in first

fan of d3

port goes for it on 4th down...incomplete, turnover

FisherAlum05

14-0 Fisher.  12 minutes left in the 1st quarter.  Norwich is not good.

This one might get very ugly.
