You know what you should do SJFF82, in your signature you should keep all of the NO's in CAPS and emphatic and then put the yes for Hartwick in a small small font with lower case letters....I think it would be the classy thing to do.
Booby:

I used to have some sarcasm sprinkled into my 'signature' and I took some liberties with the 'Wick loss and the IC win, but I was scolded by Maxpower (see October 8th post at 2:02pm) ;D so I resorted to a "just the facts" approach.  Maxpower signed off on and otherwise approved my current signature format and I am not interested in deviating from the current protocol when it comes to addressing SJF's weekly wins and losses.........for now ;)

Let's go INDIANS!!!!!!!!!!

Not to start up the baseball talk again, but why aren't either teams going back to their aces in Game 4?  With the extra off day between Games 4 and 5 that would set up their ace to go on regular rest in a Game 7.  Granted you don't know what Beckett and Sabathia will give you on 3 days rest, but you'd get your two best pitchers into 5 games with only 1 of those on short rest.

Sabathia has been hit hard in both his postseason starts + 3 days rest is historically shaky as a Fox graphic just showed (also Wang's utterly useless effort last week) + Byrd's strong effort against the Yanks = no-brainer for Cleveland.

From Boston's side they keep saying there's no way they're putting Beckett out there tomorrow; that would fly a little better if Wakefield wasn't banged up.  Usually Wakefield is money in these situations.  Any chance we see Jawhhnny Lestah tomorrow?

I have to add a little to the discussion on the rankings being inconsequential.  When it comes time to pick a POOL C team, I would think the rankings would be very important.  It seems it has hurt AU a couple of times in the last 5 years or so.  A couple of times an 8-2 record wasn't good enough because of the rankings.  Does this seem to make sense?

Knightstalker

Regional rankings are part of the selection criteria.  It is good to remember that the competition for pool c bids is national.  You are competing against a large percentage of the conference runner ups.

And thank goodness for the D3cast game so I can watch it here, really didn't want to drive to Springfield.  God bless D3football.com

Ditto.

We get to watch Sharpe run, hand off to himself, and throw to himself all from the comfort of our own home.

Just a quick reminder - If we can stop him from doing those three things, they should be beatable

Springfield sucks admiral's balls

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Coach:  Sorry son, I knew it was a mistake to use that D-III playbook.

Player:  C'mon coach... seriously?? An option run with our backup quarterback with the game on the line?

Now that's funny. +k Tecmo

Ok I have a question...Tags forgets to update his roster and has two players on bye weeks and still scores 183 points...dude that is f'd up

Just a little FYI for the E8PP community, the Alfred-Husson game appears to be starting at noon on Saterday instead of the 1 o'clock listed on D3football.com.

Thanks for the almost heads-up.

BTW, you can WATCH the Springfield/St. John Fisher game. It's our D3Cast game.

Pat,
What happened to the Ithaca/Fisher archive? Is it still going to happen?

That wasn't really a question '57 --- And getting into fantasy football and never updating a single week's lineup is just how I roll.

The power of Windbag's Winners is just too much to stop in & of itself. I think it's the karma of referencing Windbag.

Caz Bombers

Caz wishes the G-Men could play this cr*p-tastic Falcons team every week.  Still enjoying 4 straight Ws though.

Weekend predictions made on a Monday like Matt McConaughey in that awful Two for the Money movie:

Fisher defense builds on last week, rolls up Hey Pride
IC not caught napping on the road against low-rated opponent for a 2nd time, thumps Utica
Saxomaphones cruise past Who?sson
'Wick crushed by mighty Mount Un...wait, Ida? Oh, then Hawks win, but not by as much as some might think.
Caz doesn't know if Norwich is even playing and doesn't consider it relevant enough to find out.

Saxomaphones cruise past Who?sson

Pep has been instructed that NCAA regulations prohibit AU Pep Band from entering the field of play while the game is in progress, thus greatly limiting the band's influence in the outcome of Alfred's contests. The Saxomaphones will need to show restraint and stay in the stands during the tussle with the Hussies.

Pep will forever wonder, "If the band is worth seven points to the Saxons while in the stands, how much more could the band muster for the Saxons if it were on the field?"

KICK-OFF will be at 12 NOON!!!

Well, we're reliant on ICTV actually getting us a usable copy, and it seems like that's not going anywhere. Sorry. I'd like to see it, too.

Pep is getting pumped for the Saxons' home finale as one of the founding fathers of AU Pep Band will grace us with his presence. He works in Washington D.C. and this is the first weekend that our nation's lawmakers could release him of his advisory duties. Come home, Morton, a kazoo awaits you!

It will also be Senior Day at Merrill Field and AU has some outstanding seniors this year to recognize. They have had a stellar career, the Saxons to date going 31-9 from 2004-present.

I noticed Union was getting a little bit of love in the ATR article.  It also mentioned one of their loses was against Muhlenburg who is playing with such a stout defense as the article says....I'm just going to throw this out there but maybe that defense does so well because the rest of the centennial just aren't offensive juggernauts.  Seriously look back to their conference schedules the past 4 or 5 years, nobody puts up anything against them ever.  I remember when they played Fisher in the playoffs in 2004 and people were just praising their defense because they only gave up something like 8 points per game.  Yeah Fisher won that game 31-3.  Sooo not completely sold on the Mules.
