ya sarge that was low because robinson shouldn't of even been playing because of his shoulder...

I agree, I wish he would of taken a redshirt that season and he'd be playing this season....

That QB your referring too sarge graduated, Kramer replaced him as the starter halfway through the Rochester game in 06 and its been his show since...

Sorry.  It just irked me how much credit he got in that offense when I thought that he was very good, but not nearly as high as the hype.  Maybe thats because I only saw him 2 or 3 times, but thats what I took away.  I thought Farrenbauch?  Think that was him, was a real talent.  More of an athlete than a football player, but an exceptional one at that.
It also irked me the way that Robinson scored late in that game at Growney and got up and celebrated by jumping around in a look at me way and made a huge deal outta it when SJF was still down.
After all that, I prolly woulda done the same thing too, and I'm a big fan of me.

theoriginalupstate

That was Robby's first real action (had a couple of warm up carries vs Utica the previous week) since week 4 due to a shoulder seperation.

Regardless Guys,  This is going to be a big game.  It's still eaarly . Let's gives it a few weeks and see what happens.  Game by game AU has an awsome schedule.

I also have felt a little wierd throughout this argument, praising Brenton like I had a man crush.

Sarge,
There's nothing wrong with a man crush.  Even Pep has a man crush on Jose in that E8 party photo!  As for Kaz00, I have a man-child crush on Jozy Altidore that I must suppress until he turns 18 in a month.  But, since E8 Nation only cares about one type of football, I'll keep that to myself.
Check out the official card game of the AU Pep Band - Str8 Eight!

boobyhasgameyo

Not true Kaz00 I dabble with MLS and appreciate Altidore's skillllz.

On an unrelated note, I motion to ban the comparison of E8 teams to popular culture subjects (movies, tv shows, songs, etc.) for at least one year.  They started out funny and whitty but have since become redundantly redundant (do you see what i did there?).

What do you say Pep can you make it official?  Or maybe we should run a poll at the top of the page?

in all of your comparisons you say ithaca is old but a good was great is not and you say sjf is the new most wonderful everything in the world we get it you have a 24/7 hard on over sjf

ok first of...retype that post to try and ake some sense...as it does not make sense...and if I am saying that, then it must be true...secondly my comparisons have been very kind and fair towards all teams...

I am not accustomed to typing on a laptop so bear with me.  In all of your comparisons you say ithaca was great, they used to be such a powerhouse, they just arent that good anymore. and you say that sjf is the hottest thing around, they're the top dog, yadda yadda we get it.  It just gets old hearing how great sjf is, we all know.  Expand your E8 knowledge somewhat or at least talk about something different occasionally

Do they hand out those funky cut-out glasses at AU, like they did for Jaws 3D?

Frank,   I  have no world what you are talking about. Sorry.

He's referring to your transposing D3 to make it a three-dimensional experience (3D), for which one must wear funky 3D glasses in order to get the full impact. Like in Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds," one could see ravens flying out into the audience and people with 3D glasses would be dodging them.

AU football is definitely 3D in 2007....a running game, a passing game, and special teams game. It's highly definite (that's in HD) that the Saxons are a threat at all three. Hey KaZ00....do you have any of those funky 3D eyeglasses? Bring them to the game!
