Well...Hartwick has only lost once in Conference...to Alfred...I'm not sure what would happen in that 3 way. 

We've had many discussions about this.  If a 3 way tie occurs in the E8, with Fisher Alfred and Wick finishing at
5-1, then it goes to a Strength of Schedule scenario.  Hartwick will be out in that scenario I would assume.  If Fisher finishes at 9-1, they will get either the AQ or a pool C bid.  Either way, we would be in.  But We have to beat Alfred first which is not gonna be easy.

Final from Merrill Field: 53-21 Alfred.  A lot of turnovers and penalties by both teams.  Just an odd game, but it brings Alfred to 7-0.  Now comes the tough part of the schedule...

Thank God.  That first half, and the beginning of the second half, made me very nervous.  

Next week should get a little easier at Utica.  Then we have the bye week to rest up.  Then the E8 title game @ Growney.  Wish I could make it up for that.  

I wish that Utica wasn't an "easier" game in the Empire 8... I just wish they could figure out a way to be more competitive.

I didn't mean to downgrade your boys at Utica at all.  Its just a fact that its an easy game in the conference.  Give them some time.  Its only been 7 years.  Thats still a VERY young program.  They should get better.  

They have some good coaches, including a good friend of mine Kevin Moravec (played and coached at Fisher).  They also are centrally located which gives them a chance to recruit from alot of areas.  A fairly nice facility as well.
