I think Hartwick should beat Springfield given the results of this year... However I think Hartwick may crumble under the pressure...

Let's hope so, just to eliminate some of this confusion.

Honestly, because I have no affiliation, I am actually rooting for Hartwick to ADD to the confusion!  :D

It doesn't appear that any team in the Top 10 of the D3football.com Top 25 on Selection Sunday has ever been left out.

OK.  I just thought I remembered a highly ranked team not getting in.  I guess I was incorrect.

Since the expansion to 32 teams, No. 20 Ohio Northern (2005) is the highest-ranked team left home.

In the 28-team era, 2003 No. 11 Mary Hardin-Baylor was left home, but of course, that wouldn't happen with four extra at-large bids.

Ah ha!  I think it was the MHB team I was thinking of, and yes I guess you can't compare it to the current 32 team field.

Todays game is just more evidence that last seasons 55pts by SC was a fluke....

Everybody knows why they put up 55 @ Fisher last season:

#1 - SC was much better last year than this year
#2 - Fisher was missing three of its best defensive players in Stepnick, Pyszcinski, and Maggio.

If you're rooting for the underdog, I think rooting for Hartwick would qualify.  I'm a big fan of AU and Coach Murray.  With that said, I still think I'd like to see Hartwick win.  Having seen both SC and Hartwick at AU, I'd have to lean towards a Hartwick win (especially with the game being played in "the cage".

Can Alfred take care of IC and Hobart to set up a great match up at Growney?

Will the FIsher- SC game be shown?

No.  IC has two conference losses.  Alfred would only have 1 in that scenario.  I don't think there is any way that IC can be involved unless Fisher somehow lost to Utica.
Thanks, I woke up in the middle of the night thinking of this 'stuff' and realized my two posts were wrong...

wow...this could end up really wacky..but pat the great prognosticator, if Fisher, Alfred and Hartwick all end up with 1 E8 loss and Wick indeed does get the AQ, what are the chances that both Fisher and Alfred get a pool c... I mean if Fisher wins out they would be probably a top 5 team...if Alfred wins out I can still see them around 12...

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

If Alfred wins out, implying they beat Fisher, you don't think they would move up from 12?
