Ladies and gentlemen, I'll be brief. The issue here is not whether we broke a few rules, or took a few liberties with our female party guests - we did. But you can't hold a whole fraternity responsible for the behavior of a few, sick twisted individuals. For if you do, then shouldn't we blame the whole fraternity system? And if the whole fraternity system is guilty, then isn't this an indictment of our educational institutions in general? I put it to you, Greg - isn't this an indictment of our entire American society? Well, you can do whatever you want to us, but we're not going to sit here and listen to you badmouth the United States of America. Gentlemen!

I think you are mistaken DC.  He is the guy that wrote the screenplay.  The Director was John Landis

realistic

Harold Ramis wrote it, right?  I am drawing a blank on that line and who said it.  But I think Ramis wrote it.

JQV

IMDB validates realistic on the screenplay.  Although it looks like there were several authors.  I just remember seeing a thing about that nerdy guy that has one line being a screenwriter on the 50th anniversary edition of the movie on Spike.

Stork AKA Douglas Kenney, one of the three writers listed for the movie on imdb.

So Curry loses by a monkey stomp and not a double monkey stomp.

Are we sure a coach at the D3 level can be fired soley based on his on field performance (record)?  I dont think he can... if he resigned obviously thats different.

Sure a coach can be fired for on field performance.  It is college football.  Honestly, I know some people inside the program and have personal friends that played at Utica.  I've heard some things that are quite worrisome.  At Fisher, the players police themselves.  No drinking during the week, only saturday nights after games.  No drugs, go to classes, etc.  If rules are broken, the players on the unity council decide the consequences.  At Utica, its much different.  My friends, whom both started at Utica for 2 years, did whatever they wanted whenever they wanted.  Drinking everynight, even the night before games.  Never went to class, got kicked off campus, etc.
Until some discipline is adopted by the players, it will be hard to change things.  A new coach is probably exactly what they need.

DewCrew, I know your an alum so dont take anything I just said personally.  Just some things I've heard.

Well you just proved what i was thinking... none of what you stated is on the field performance... there was obviously something else going on behind the scenes there... so thank you for your non relavant info

I think you should look up the definition of the word "prove".

MIOH's imagination wont allow him to think that a 2 loss Cortland team will be getting in Over a 2 loss Bomber team that just finished running the table (after the Fisher loss) and Monkey Stomping them @ Butterfield.

Go Bombers
Cortland Sucks

FisherAlum05

Curry 2nd?  Thats just crazy.  I'm kinda surprised Hartwick didn't slip in there.  Or Ithaca.
St. John Fisher College...King of the East

FisherAlum05

Union baffles me as well.  Plenty of 2 loss teams more deserving IMHO including Ithaca, Hartwick, and possibly Montclair.  Frank the Tank aint gonna like that comment.
