haha, theres a possiblity anything can happen, but alfred will not lose their next two

Prove it...I'm not so sure, if they can't stay within 10 of a good hobart team, how will they compete with a traditonal power like Ithaca, and the real supermen, Fisher

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Booby.  Your sig remined me: Sharpe had 0 catches for 0 yards against the Bombers.  Hence the win.

your right i guess fisher and ithaca just can't be beat by anyone, proved that this year.

I agree that there is a chance they may not lose their last two, but they just got thumped last week.

Now they go into Butterfield - Playing a team with a chip on their shoulder, and who won't lose twice at home.
Then, off two road games vs. quality opponents, they have to head into Growney. Fisher will be well rested, with two weeks to do nothing but prepare for Alfred. The bottom line is that no matter how you slice it, things aren't looking promising for the Saxons.

Exactly. That's simply a well thought out gameplan - you really need to keep Sharpe from doing those three things and it's game over.

we'll see i guess. maybe alfred will play the JV boys at ithaca and rest the team for the playoffs

I don't think they should save them at Butterfield - it doesn't matter how well rested you are for ECAC bowl games.

dood you really are a silly goat.... I'm not saying that Alfred will lose both games, but they are not going into Butterball with any momentum, and Ithaca is...and plus after two bruising rough physical away games, they are going into Growney to play the 7th ranked team in the land, and Fisher's 1 loss on the road was by 3 how many did alfred lose by....

probably be the best chance for an E8 team to get a pool C bid actually..........

FisherAlum05

Wick will probably lose to SC.  Alfred will beat Ithaca, then lose to Fisher.

Fisher 9-1          NCAA
Alfred 8-2          ECAC
Hartwick 7-3      ECAC

Atleast thats what I'm hoping for...

thanks 05. does it matter if ithaca beats AU? it pretty much comes down to the fisher v au game right?

correct.  Alfred could lose to Ithaca then beat Fisher and still get the automatic bid.  But, the Ithaca game is still important for Alfred in terms of a pool C bid if it comes to that.

I honestly think someone will get a bid at 8-2.  There are gonna be an awful lot of quality teams that finish with 2 losses in the East.
