dude, I said you got with a prostitute after making fun of my spelling non-stop1 and calling me superheinz,2  you then brought my mother into it3 ...stop just leave this board alone4  and I wills top making fun of you, frank was stepping up playing, if you have an issue with some back and forth stupid non sense then don't post

1 I don't make fun of your spelling non-stop.  Once, I posted the one "word" question "prositute?"  Even if I did make fun of your spelling non-stop, I don't see how that had anything to do with the tranny "prositute" slam that you made on me when someone else was making fun of your spelling.

2 I call you SuperHeinz57 not as an insult, but rather as a term of endearment--are you not aware of the commercial product Heinz 57 sauce?  Furthermore it's a lot easier to say SuperHeinz57 than to try and spell your handle, which I can't really understand--but I know it starts with Super (sort of), and it includes the number 57.

3 You brought me into it.  Don't blame me for responding to your unprovoked attack.  You started it, go complain to the teacher.

3 Why?  You announced days ago that you don't read my posts, so what difference does it make?  A while back, I posted a thorough, sincere question asking if anyone could explain the Empire8 to me--it is so confusing to me, I've dubbed it the Erratic8.  Many people have picked up on the points I made in my question, and have discussed the Hartwick paradox: Wins v. SJFisher, Loses to W(TF?)NEC.  Many people responded with their poll analyses, and I took a supermassive black hole's worth of negative karma, just because I defended the use of measurable, verifiable, objective data over such nonverifiable "subjective data" as toughness, reputation, and "if A and B played today, B would win even though it lost last week."

If you don't want to talk football, by all means, don't read my posts.

ok enough is enough... So my football question is what is the possibility that one team from the Wick-Field game scores more than Ithaca and Alfred combined

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Frank Rossi

For the record, I'm fine with Super...He and I have been dishing it for over a year -- and he knows I'm just busting his balls about his spelling and grammar (well, it IS bad, no doubt -- but asking him to fix it is like telling the wall not to stand there...it just won't happen short of a big ax).

RS, you're taking things way too personally -- when you come in and insult some folks, it's like the guy from another fraternity coming in and trying to boss around the other fraternity's pledges.  Yeah, we may all be in the same system, but we don't necessary trust the other house's intentions right off the bat.  Not many people understand the tone of your messages, so that's why Super jumped at you after the mother reference.  Karma is really a metaphor on here for respect -- and once you gain enough karma, people generally take you as "one of the guys dishing on it" a lot more easily.

These boards are a bit of a subculture, whether you like it or not.  This is how we roll - all are invited, but there is a trust factor for each new entrant that gets built over time.

P.S. -- Don't you guys have a better use for your poll question?  All I'm trying to do is help Super and RS to get less serious and spiteful here.

I don't know how to explain it more clearly, counselor.  I don't want to dish it.  I want to talk about football.  "The mother reference" was a RESPONSE to Super's insult that he laid on me when he responded to someone else's post, not mine.  (Kinda like your insult of me when you were responding to someone else.)

I don't want to dish it.  I don't come in here with attitude, I don't enter hurling insults.  I talk about football, on an intellectual level that is equivalent to your discussions of football.

But I don't want to dish it.  Why can't the posters on this board grow up and respect that fact?  I don't really care about the karma, because I don't care to become known as "one of the guys dishing on it," I want to talk about D3 football.

Super57, to his credit, finally posted about D3 football on the E8 board.

I posted a draft of a Primary Criteria priority system, where Winning Percentage is ten times more valuable than OWP/SoS.  What did you think?  If you were on the Selection Committee, would you advocate assigning priority to the Primary Criteria?  Given your public stance on OWP/SoS, I'd think that you would.

1 It's not as if I just got here.  I was posting a fair amount until a couple of years ago.  When the discussion board for the NCAA's jihad on American Indian-related nicknames and mascots was shut down because of too much free speechifyin', I took some time off.  I started posting again when K-Mack's Around the Nation column discussed the issue of American Indian-related nicknames and mascots.

Who is fisher playing this week and where?

Cortaca is at IC this year correct?

If Crea doesnt play ... how much affect does that have on the Hartwick SC game... i think its huge... offense and special teams will take a huge blow without him.

Pep, if you had posted this earlier, I'd have sent you my parking pass.  Too late now.  Sorry.

No.  It's too mechanical and doesn't necessarily allow for glitches in the numbers.

Fisher has a bye week.

What's wrong w/ Crea?

JQV

Honestly, I don't know that it really matters if Crea plays or not.  SC's secondary is so bad, you could easily put up 50 points without every running the football.  That game is going to be like a pickup game in the neighborhood.  First team to not score loses.

Pep,

Tecmo or Dubbz might be at the game... if they aren't putting up thanksgiving decorations at their new houses
