YES...wick won. Not knowing was torture. Thanks for the updates

Damn Springfield can't do anything right this season.  Assuming they beat Utica next week that officially eliminates Fisher from the Automatic Bid.  They will still be co-champs in the E8 though if Fisher beats Alfred.  That would keep the tradition alive of Fisher's E8 championships all having to be shared with another team.  Good times

And if Alfred beats fisher and wins the league, does Hartwick get the pool C over SJF?

I would guess yes to that --- but AU won't beat Fisher at Growney IMHO.

What has happened to Springfield this year?

not in my mind because you have to start comparing losses, Fisher's losses at that point would be to the E8 champion and a 3 point loss on the road to hartwick, while hartwick would of also lost the the E8 champion, but the WNEC loss comes back to bite them where the good lord split them...

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Yea but didnt SJF lose to the team that lost to Hartwick?  Im not saying I agree or disagree, but I think the team that wins head to head deserves to go.........

but is the team that won head to head the better team...I'm not saying either way just trying to play a little devils adovacate...hopefully fisher takes care of buisness and utica wakes up from the dead

Yea Im gonna say if SJF played Hartwick 100 times, SJF wins 80 times and that they are the better team.  But I think wick would deserve to go.  I mean they did what they had to do in my opinion....

AU - IC game will be much closer than most posters are predicting.  Saxon 73 won't be there - is feeling "under the weather"  :)
yeh I was suprised they kept it that close too ;)

It was closer than the final score, but IC had the bigger plays.  Im gonna say if you had to grad both teams by offense and defense for the game, IC gets an A- on offense and a B- on defense.  Alfred probably gets an A- on offense and a C on defense.

I wouldn't be so sure...as long as it's not UofR that goes in LL I think the LL is only going to get one team in...and I would say an 8-2 fisher gets in before a 7-2 RPI and an 8-2 Hartwick

Going to be 'realistic' for a moment...AU has gotta be mighty pissed right about now, coming off 2 straight losses in the face of an undefeated season.  If they have any character and some good coaching, they will wake tomorrow and recognize that despite what it seems after getting gorilla-stomped back to back weeks, they still are in the driver's seat in the E8  and for the AQ.  Seems very similar to SJF 2005 to me.  This SJF team, as I have alluded to at various pts this season, is obviously talented and wins games, but, like '05, they don't seem to have any edge.  Most of you Fisher guys are pretty knowledgable on here and should see this as well, maybe you're just not 'posting' it.  I certainly expect them to beat an AU team at home next week that clearly does not appear to be dominate, but I will be anxious all week about what should be a very hungry AU squad.  Keep in mind the recent trend in this series...in '04, SJF went to Merrill with an NCAA birth on the line and won, a year later at Growney, same scenario and lost; last year again at Merrill, SJF wins....now back to Growney for the 4th year in a row with the NCAA's looming.....exciting stuff.

superman57

Superman will most likely be at growney for the game...yes alfred has to be pissed but there is a reason they have lost two in a row...they had not been challenged by a good team yet...I watched hobart play today...while Strom was impressive...I would take fisher over Hobart anytime...
