Bomber Playoff Thoughts:

As soon as the Bombers went down to Wick... MIOH thought that was it & the Bombers season is over.

However, As much as the Bombers getting in over Wick doesnt make any sense... it wouldn't surprise me. NCAA committee decisions never do.

The Bombers will have won 6 in a row (after monkey stomping C-state) and have a much better schedule out of conference then wick when you look at wins against Lyco, Kings, Brockport, and Cortland...

Compared to a loss @ WNE and wins over Mt. Ida, Becker, & Husson.

Hartwick's signature wins (while impressive) were all at home by a total of 8 points (Ithaca -2, Fisher - 3, and Springfield -3).

MIOH is aware this is an unreal scenario... he was just thinking what would happen if wick didn't get AQ and finished at 8-2

Thats why we were rooting for Alfred! Alfred needs to win... they get the AQ and then it comes down to SJF, Wick, and IC for the Pool C.... Which I would htink would go to IC due to everything OH said. Where is Pat to clear this mess up?

By this point of the season I'm not looking for respect, it doesn't really matter to me if we have it from posters or pollsters. It is what we do on the field that counts. What I am trying to combat is the irrational expections of the IC faithful. They have no shot of being better than the 3rd team in the E8 in the NCAA's eyes and that is only with a Hartwick loss to Utica. If 'wick wins IC can be no better than 4th.

Oops, I think you are rooting for SJF this weekend and a 'Wick loss. You would rather be competing with AU for a pool C, not SJF. You are not going to get a Pool C over SJF, a team that you lost to convincingly at home. You would however get a Pool C over AU, team you beat.

MIOH is just going to drink PBR all day, watch the bombers monkey stomp c-state, go to semesters afterwards, and hope that PC announces the bombers name on the selection show.

A first round date with Curry would be great.

To be honest, the playoffs are great and all but neither AU, Hartwick, SJF, or IC are going to bring home the walnut and bronze. This time of year focuses on one game, and one game only. And that game ain't being discussed on this board.

Actually, icdubbz, if you are assuming that Hartwick will win this week, then I guess you would be pulling for AU to beat SJF. Because if SJF and Wick win, then Wick is in and SJF definatively grabs the Pool C from everyone.

Bottom line is that the only longshot IC has is a SJF win AND a Wick loss...not likely to get both.

Oh really, so if IC/SJF/HC all have the same record in region and one team beat the other two. Than the team that lost to the other two will get the spot. What color is the sky in your world?
