Oops, I think you are rooting for SJF this weekend and a 'Wick loss.  You would rather be competing with AU for a pool C, not SJF.  You are not going to get a Pool C over SJF, a team that you lost to convincingly at home.  You would however get a Pool C over AU, team you beat.

Actually, icdubbz, if you are assuming that Hartwick will win this week, then I guess you would be pulling for AU to beat SJF.  Because if SJF and Wick win, then Wick is in and SJF definatively grabs the Pool C from everyone. 

Bottom line is that the only longshot IC has is a SJF win AND a Wick loss...not likely to get both.

where is the respect for hartwick?  last i checked, we pulled off wins against fisher, ithaca, and springfield this year, and people think utica is going to beat them?  we have consistently beaten quality programs.  alfred isn't the team that will pull together and beat a powerhouse like fisher after dropping 2 in a row, so unless boltus gets paralyzed and can't play against utica, hartwick gets the aq and their first e8 title.  i think we have earned a little more respect than what we've been given.

and we have a very young defense (starting freshman and sophomores) and are still winning games.  as long as the defense can win games after boltus graduates, hartwick will be the contender that gives the e8 5 strong teams, with another entering (cortland, maybe?) after norwich leaves in 2011.

First of all - James, way to give yourself props for the young defensive corps.

Second - There is a big difference between people on here talking about what they think will happen and people not "respecting" Hartwick.  I am so sick and tired of people throwing 'respect' around.

Third - Go back to practice and work on getting ready for Utica because it's not a sure thing.

Fourth - please do not come on here, to this leagues page and talk about people getting paralyzed.  It isn't funny or appropriate anywhere but especially not here.

"consistently beaten quality programs" This year yes, you've beaten some good teams in IC and SJF but to say you've done it consistently is a total joke considering your loss to a crappy NEFC team.

one good season makes for a "program"?

last i checked- it has taken Fisher umpteen years to finally herald itself with a fine program that has lasting power and one that is an elite in the league and now the east.
