You IC guys are starting to sound like the kid in the neighborhood that gets left behind when a new kid moves in (HC) and the other cool kids (AU/SJF) decide to hang out with the new kid and leave you behind.

Hartwick is like the new kid that moves in and shows up in school talking big about he just got out of Juvy or some **** so all the kids hang out with him for a while until they realize his dad just got transferred to the paper mill nearby and he is just as lame as he always was and goes back to being the lame kid in school again sometime around 2008.

where is the respect for hartwick?  last i checked, we pulled off wins against fisher, ithaca, and springfield this year, and people think utica is going to beat them?  we have consistently beaten quality programs.  alfred isn't the team that will pull together and beat a powerhouse like fisher after dropping 2 in a row, so unless boltus gets paralyzed and can't play against utica, hartwick gets the aq and their first e8 title.  i think we have earned a little more respect than what we've been given.

and we have a very young defense (starting freshman and sophomores) and are still winning games.  as long as the defense can win games after boltus graduates, hartwick will be the contender that gives the e8 5 strong teams, with another entering (cortland, maybe?) after norwich leaves in 2011.

Attention all Hartwick posters: THIS is what we mean by people coming on here screaming about no respect. This right here is EXACTLY what we mean.

I love to see posts like this and look down and see "posts: 1" in the corner. Or to see the name in black because they've already de-registered.

They have to play Curry @ Curry and since Hartwick is 2-2 on the road with an unimpressive 19-13 win @ Norwich and an equally unimpressive 48-21 LOSS at WNE (A team that lost 48-3 vs Curry) we could be looking at Curry and the NEFC's first NCAA playoff win!

If Wick does get the AQ and if SJF beats AU I think SJF will get the higher seed based on NCAA regional rankings...

Wick will then have to go on the road and play a pretty good team (possibly TCNJ or an imported team like Muhlenburgh) and then in turn get spanked....

quite frankly-----to the wick guys----it really is no slam--i like the fact that the e8 is becoming stronger top to bottom--i just get a little miffed when i have to keep hearing about respect.

He wants as many E8 teams in the postseason as possible (NCAA or ECAC), it looks as though the E8 may get in 4 teams to the NCAA's and ECAC's..
