You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Q, is this your first?

JQV

Yeah it's my first.  We were actually married about two months when it happened (woops).

Super, if my kid wants to be a PE teacher, he isn't going all the way to NY for college.  He can go to Cortland, he just can never come home again for holidays.  (just kidding, of course).

Thanks to all for the congrats.

WICB Sports

92 WICB's coverage of the 2007 Cortaca Jug begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday with a special one-hour edition of Countdown to Kickoff, hosted by Robert Schroeder and Evan Heidenrich.  Guests on the show include Bombers head coach Mike Welch, offensive line coach Gabe Luvara, defensive coordinator Mark Ross, defensive tackle Phil Byers and running backs Jamie Donovan and Alex Baez.  Cortland head coach and defensive coordinator Dan MacNeill and offensive coordinator Dan Lounsbury will also be featured.  WICB will look at the history of the jug with Jug co-founders Dick Carmean '60 and Tom Decker (Cortland '61).  Alumni Kevin Connors '97, sports anchor with WCBS Radio in New York; Bruce Beck '78, sports anchor with WNBC TV in New York; Jon Meterparel '94, the voice of Boston College football; and Lanny Frattare '70, the voice of the Pittsburgh Pirates, will reflect on their years covering the Jug.  Former Sports Illustrated writer John Walters, who coined the phrase "biggest little game in the nation," and former Ithaca sports information director Pete Moore will look back to when the Jug started to grow in popularity in the late '80s and early '90s.

At noon, Dan Cassavaugh and Michael Polak have the call of the game from Butterfield Stadium.

Stay tuned after the game for Bombers Postgame, as we're taking your calls at (607) 274-3217.

Saturday's game will be available online at www.wicb.org as well as at www.stretchinternet.com (click on Today's Broadcasts).

On Sunday, WICB presents a special one-hour Division III Selection Show Special from 6-7 p.m.  Hosts Michael Berger, Michael Polak and Lee Small will break down Saturday's game, recap the 2007 season, and take a look at the 2007 NCAA Division III playoffs, which will be announced earlier in the day.  Head coach Mike Welch will join us as well as Saturday's key players, while d3football.com's Pat Coleman will (hopefully) join us to help us break down the playoffs.  As always, we'll be taking your calls at (607) 274-3217.

Q, there is nothing more substantial in life than having a child.  It's way beyond d3.  I have been blessed with two beautiful and intelligent daughters, now 20 and 18.  Seeing them grow and mature to be wonderfull young ladies is indescribable.  No trouble, good grades etc is all the best I can wish for you. A gratefull Dad, Saxon 73
