how do the 2 big match ups in the liberty effect the seedings in the e8, or don't they?

I would imagine that if Rochester wins the LL, it helps Fisher's case for a Pool C if they get by Alfred Saterday. Odds are pretty slim Hartwick will get beat by Utica so that would help out.

Not sure if anything else helps or hurts the E8.

I really don't think it's going to be an offensive showdown. I'd be willing to bet scores are pretty difficult to come by this game.

Keeley (sp?) is facing probably the best Secondary he's faced - I'd take Stepnick in man to man vs. any WR Alfred can throw at him... freeing up some help for Miranto, who is a very solid corner but happens to play opposite of #19. On the flip side, Fisher's offense isn't as high powered as many folks want to believe.

I just don't see it being a ridiculously high scoring affair.

I see your point, but i think the thing that makes keeley so good is that he hits all his wrs.  You cant focus on 1 or 2 guys.  The question is, can your lbs stay with those slot wrs and the rbs, especially in space?

I'd take SJF's cover 3 vs AU's pass offense any day....

The outside backers are extremely athletic and the Corners are the best tandem in the E8...

Good point with the LB comment. I think Fisher's LB's have come a long way this year and are playing pretty solid ball. Gottlieb, Flagler, and Cucit are a solid core, and Micah Norton can play both LB and DB so that helps. I'm assuming you'll see some more DB's on the field until Alfred proves they can make Fisher pay running the ball.

Like Robinson, I think Lang was a player that's a once in 10 years type of guy. Often all you hear is how the Offense isn't as explosive, but the Defense isn't as good as last year either (IMHO). Lang brought so much to the table, and Pyz & Maggio were always very good getting pressure.

It will definitely have to be a total team effort now - I'm looking forward to it.

ok, in my mind this game is on the sholders of Hendrix...if he can run the ball well then it will open up AU's pass game...if he can't run the ball then

Where's Alfred Goin.....

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

I think the SJF DT's have done an outstanding job in plugging up the middle this season.  Becton (6-6 360) and Schenk (6-1 260) are a real force in the middle as they are allowing only 96 yds rushing a game, 2.6 yards per carry and have only allowed 5 rushing TDs all season.
