Hey Pep, the stands, actually the endzone is going to be full of fired up AU alums! i think its going to be a good one if not we'll still be there talkin trash

If by full you mean 8 people.

Incidentally, Pep sadly drove past the empty Krispy Kreme en route to Tim Horton's for coffee and danish en route home from the airport Sunday. Thank God for Tim Horton's!

Dont worry Pep...there will be plenty of doughnuts on the AU side of the scoreboard on Saterday to make up for the vacancy at Krispy Kreme ;)

Suchyna lost his starting job to Kramer at the UofR game last year and he then went on to graduate in the spring

Suchyna had some fabulous stats...but truth be told, Pep doesn't think he ever recovered from the hits he sustained in that AU game. Pep remembers he stumbled some against RPI in the ECACs...never was the same.

Tags, were you at the 2005 game? AU packed the sub-standard stands and the end zone plaza while AU Pep Band was in the upper corner of the Fisher stands surrounded by more AU fans. Pep has a tape of that game....all those hits Brenton Brady personally delivered to Suchya (was that his name? whatever happened to that QB? did he graduate?) were sick, but the last one was the most devastating.

Pep has posted elsewhere that the Saxons have a loyal following and particularly when playing in Rachacha...home of a goodly number of AU students. Tis like a weekend at home to go to the Fisher game.

Pep, I dont mean to speak for Tags...but I will...I think he was breakin balls...remember whom he was communicating with at the time....The silly_ass_goat

Such was a good guy, but not having Robbie hurt him and he tried to do much...the Ithaca play also probably haunted him

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

God I love how Alfred people cite the 2005 game as though it was some epic blowout in which Fisher was completely outmatched......It was 13-7.  I was at the game, Brady was all over the place and he was hitting hard but my God you guys act like Fisher had no shot.  But I guess I would dwell on it too if it were the only win we had against a team since the E8 formed.

the_silly_goat

no i think your wrong, i think fisher is really good, but thats all the fisher fans think. love getting you guys all twisted

Yeah, you're probably right, Booby. It was no big deal. Pep apologizes for even bringing it up.

Was he wrong about the score?  or was he wrong about being at the game?  or that AU has only one win ag. SJF since the E8 was formed?  I am confused...what was Booby wrong about in his post?

I love getting all twisted!

What else could the past be...the future ???

Nah screw it Pep if we beat Mount Union only once I know I would talk about it years after the fact.  So I'll try and refrain from being hypocritical, I just think the way some Alfred fans speak of the game is misleading.
