I do agree, whether or not you all like it or not, that Hartwick does indeed deserve the bid... Regardless of what they did against Utica, they won... Just like they did against Fisher and Ithaca.  If those teams don't like it, they should have beaten Hartwick...

can anyone confirm if the utica hartwick game is the highest scoring game in ncaa history? I know the boise st 60 something to 60something game a couple weeks ago was the highest d1 game

I think the cracks at Hartwick about giving back their auto bid were just sarcastic bitterness...Wick beat both IC and Fisher and no other team anywhere can say that.  I wish Hartwick the best...I just don't want to come on here next week and see they handed the NEFC its first ever playoff win.

Just happy the Hawks found a way...albeit against Utica...to win when they needed it.  You won't hear me bragging about the W...though this game will be talked about for years.  Congrats on the E8 title Hartwick...whether posters on here like it or not, you deserve it.

In reality, Hartwick and Fisher are co-champions of the E8.  Congrats to both teams.  And honestly, if Wick had to play Fisher again, I don't think it would be close.

Alum...thanks...and I completely agree.  Like last year when SJF got to the Final 4 and played great against MUC...it made the whole league look great.  Good luck yourselves...as you guys are in.  Baby steps for Wick though...no predictions...just hope they play well.  At the very least, they can score with anyone.

Fan of D3 is in idiot.  They definitely both share the conference title Hartwick just receives the automatic bid.  I think Fan of D3 believes that if Hartwick were to win Fisher wouldn't make it to the playoffs.  Good luck keeping one of the now top 5 teams in the nation with one 3 point loss on the road out of the playoffs.  Have fun watching Springfield in the playoffs i mean the ECAC's i mean wherever the hell they end up....

I think the one thing overlooked in the Wick-Utica game is the fact that SOMEHOW...Wick found a way to win.  It wasn't pretty...and it wasn't what a NCAA team should have done...but none of that matters.  They got it done.  For a young program like Wick, this will be the game that will be talked about probably forever.  The game that got them their first NCAA game.  Hat's off to Utica.  My god, if they figure it out there, and I do not think they are that far off with the stadium they have and the FA packages they give out, then the E8 is going to be stacked.

yeah i realize they both share the title, where did i say they didnt? its the same as last year when springfield and sjf won the title but we all knew who the real winners then were like the real winners this year  8)

and like i said, i dont give two sh*ts about springfield football, lol the only thing they do is provide me a place to drink on saturday afternoons.  THANK GOD THE SEASON ENDED FOR THEM TODAY
