I was in the student section and they tried to taunt a little kid wearing an alfred shirt when I told them to shut up and that kids were off limits

Awesome super, -K to you (that sounds weird).

Anyway, I'm going to the bills game tomorrow to see (cough tags) JP Losman hopefully tear up the Miami Defense -- Although if they were smart it would be a pretty big dose of Lynch... Please don't get embarrassed by the fins!

Rolevio

So Rolevio was browsing ESPN and sees an article on the front page about Navy-North Texas.  So he clicks on it and sees there is a chart for highest scoring college games with today's Hartwick-Utica game at the top.  Rolevio then remembered why he is constantly frustrated by ESPN.

F. Rossi - great job on the East braket predictions.  However, I think that Curry will be the 1 seed, Fisher 2 ...... Hobart 7, Hartwick 8.  You will still end up with the same first round games, but the undefeated team will be the 1 seed and Hobart will be seeded lower than Hartwick.  And I think Curry is the only team that Hartwick can beat.  So after the 1st round Fisher will have home field advantage and can get some revenge on Hartwick.  Just my 2 cents!

met_fan

Any system that allows Curry to be the #1 seed needs to be blown up

FisherAlum05

As a Fisher fan, I'm hoping that we dont draw Hobart in the 1st round (if Hobart even makes the tournament, which I think they will).  But it looks like that will probably happen due to travel issues.  Hobart is dangerous and has been playing great football.  If Curry is the #1 seed, I will vomit.  Yes, they are 11-0, but they play nobody and they never win in the NCAA tournament.

Does Curry have a big enough facility to host a game? I was there in 1995 and there really was not enough seating. I know they've done a lot with that program since then, but I was just curious.

What are you guys thinking on the E8 player of the year honors this season?  Very tough calls thi season!  My predictions:

Offensive Player of the Year:  Jason Boltus, QB, Hartwick College
Defensive Player of the Year: Steven Stepnick, DB, St. John Fisher College
Rookie of the Year:  I have absolutely no idea!!
Coach of the Year:  Coach Carr, Hartwick College

Thats a very good point, not too sure about their facility.  Never really thought of that.  We will find out in the morning.

Looked back at Curry's results in the playoffs over the past six years and they have not hosted a playoff game. Not sure if that was due to seeding or facilities?

Pat Coleman

I believe they have upgraded their facility.

If Curry went undefeated last year and got the 6 or 7 seed, why would they get the 1 seed this year?  They haven't done anything different, and I don't know if the committee would be that swayed...But I have been wrong before (so goes the legend at least)

Unfortunately for the Saxon legion, turnovers have cost us dearly the last 3 weeks.  You can't survive the number of turnovers we've comitted against good teams.  Even with all my purple attire it was something to watch Stepnick on punt returns.  He doesn't know what a fair catch is and he refuses to go down.  Fisher was simply the better team.

ECAC Potential Playoff Teams (Declared as of Last Thursday's Deadline)

1. 8-1 - Plymouth State University (NEFC)
2. 8-2 - Coast Guard Academy (NEFC)
3. 7-2 - Ithaca College (E8)
4. 7-3 - Alfred University (E8)
5. 7-3 - Cortland State (NJAC)
6. 6-3 - Bridgewater State College (NEFC)
---------------------------------------------------
5-4 - Union College (LL)
6-4 - University of Rochester (LL)
5-4 - Nichols College (NEFC)

ATTENTION ITHACA FANS
According to a reliable source, Ithaca withdrew from ECAC Playoff consideration last week.  Therefore, the sixth slot is open for Union, Rochester and Nichols.  Since there are already three teams chosen from New England, it is likely that another New York team will be selected.  Therefore, Union or Rochester will likely be selected for the final ECAC slot.   The conference call will be held at 8pm EST Sunday.

as a fan of the NEFC i agree CUrry doesnt deserve a number 1 seed... but i believe SJF deserves the 1 seed.... i think Hartwick stands no chance at beating anyone in the first round ... not even Curry... if you give up 70 to Utica that means your in trouble ... just my two cents

by god pat I hope your right.....

St. John Fisher Bracket
1. St. John Fisher (C)
2. Curry (A)
3. RPI (A)
4. Hobart (C)
5. New Jersey (A)
6. Hartwick (A)
7. Ithaca (C)
8. Widener (A)
A surprise, perhaps, right off the bat as we have three Empire 8 teams in the field. Hartwick passed Widener in opponents' winning percentage (OWP) and OOWP this week and dragged Ithaca up with them. Widener plays at St. John Fisher, Ithaca at Curry, Hartwick at RPI and New Jersey at Hobart.

how big would that be for a) the east to get 3 pool c's b) the e8 to get two of the pool c's and I for one would love to see the RPI-Wick game

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.
