There's nothing more I would like than to be proven wrong, though.

thanks...I went to RPI, some of the worst spelling people in the world. Fortunately, I use the proper conjugations and pronunciations on the air :)

Anyway, I just can't stand all the MUC talk and what amounts to conceding the region to them on Monday..it's crazy. Let's play the games.

I absolutely agree with you RT.

IC is playing its best ball of the year.  RPI has been underrated all year.  TCNJ is clearly a tough team.  Fisher is solid all around and Hartwick can score points with anyone.

EDIT:  I knew I would forget one team.  Hobart's offense is a force to be reckoned with as well and they are as hot as anyone heading into the playoffs.

as much as it pains RT, he's pulling for IC. It's because RT is sick and tired of all the wussies who've basically giving MUC the East region title already....and it's only Mon. Some defeatest talk from the NJ board as an example

I knew someone would say that, of course taking a low shot as I would expect...

Hey, I'm just being realistic.  It's nothing against TCNJ or RPI who both probably could have won the Region had MUC not rudely interrupted the region.  The winner better enjoy it this week.

it's a "low shot" in response to a grossly defeatest attitude. Are you scared of MUC? I'm not but I'd like to win against TCNJ first. Also, I'd love to hear how IC feels about everyone in the east, outside of Ithaca, NY, basically pondering who MUC is going to play in round 2. In 2003, RPI hung for a half against St.John's who beat MUC in the nation championship.

"being realistic"?....give me a freaking break. I cant even begin to tell you how an RPI, IC, or TCNJ player would feel about that comment. You'd get jacked up if you said that around one of those guys. MUC's field is 100 yards long. They play with a regulation ball. They put 11 guys out on offense and 11 guys on defense. They're human, just like we are....wtf..i wouldn't want to be in a foxhole w/ you...

I may Fedex my FDC shirt to MUC so i can be there in spirit.

You can sent it to me and I will make sure it is displayed "properly".   ::)

I will say this, despite what else I've said... Ithaca may be the toughest test MUC will have faced in the first round of the playoffs in a long time.

fisheralum91

ok gents- scouting report on Hobart--any thoughts?

I will say this- after watching Fisher this year and especially on Sat, that defense is going to be hard to score on.
Played a great game, not to forget the special teams------wow--- punter played out of his mind and S.S looked like he could have broken every one of the kickoffs!!!!!

JQV

Come to think of it, the only thing we know for sure about the game is that IC owns Pierre Garcon.

In his only meeting with the Bomber defense he managed just four catches for 31 yards despite the fact that the Bombers had a 4128237894563 hour bus ride to get to the get to the game in Vermont.

Advantage: Dithaca.

fisheralum91

Jose-- the RB is an absolute horse!
Stopping the running game is going to be a challenge!

theoriginalupstate

It will be interesting to see what the IC 3-4 does vs MUC's line....

Bart scares me, they are extremely aggressive on Defense and well coached...

I think SJF's D is going to have a tough test...

However they did just allow close to 300yds rushing by Rochester, Im sure SJF's line is salivating....

superman57

FA91, they are a passing team, so they are gonna need to be careful, but strom is a beast and he can run for it , you stop Strom and you beat Hobart, but in Super's mind Bart has yet to actually beat anyone of strength and will be put to the test against a very good fisher team

Pat I recieved an email from heeringbrotherssports.com does this have anything to do with you...

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Weaknesses:  The only thing I can think of is too many penalties, but Mount has always been ranked near the top (or bottom depending on how you look at it) of penalty yards.  Good luck finding a weakness.

Toph,

Are you alluding that MUC's Raiders are cheaters and play dirty?

New FDC-colored penalty flags!  Great for all those MUC moments:
-Holding
-Offsides
-False Start
-Roughing the Kicker
-Roughing the Passer
-Illegal proceedure
-Too many Radiers on the Field
-Too many Radiers on the bench
-Too many National Championships
-Too many strengths
-Too few weaknesses
-Immortality
-Wearing Purple

As a JCU alum, I would love to say that Mount plays dirty, but alas, for the most part, they don't.  They don't often get dumb penalties (offsides, false start, etc.) but they will get what might be called "aggresive" penalties (roughing the passer, an occasional late hit, pass interference), but in the last few games they've really cut down across the board.

Oh, and since they dressed about 300 for the game against Marietta, "too many Raiders on the sideline" isn't out of the question.   ;)

Is this some sort of veiled threat?  Did I make that comment to any player?  Not as far as I can tell.  If any players are reading this and concerned about what I'm posting, I can think of plenty of things that should be more important to them:  1.  Their schoolwork, 2.  Their family, 3.  The game they have to play on Saturday...I can continue, but I'll stop.

Mount is human, yes.  They don't make many mistakes, though.  Larry Kehres' record is 256-20-3.  That isn't an accident.  I made the "realistic" quote as a tounge in cheek reference to a poster's nickname.  You can be fired up about being in the playoffs, you can root hard for Ithaca, but if you say they're going to win, you better tell me how.

RT was referring to a comment I made on another board about being realistic about the East Region Teams' chances.

What exactly does this mean, anyway? Are you in a position of eminence where someone needs to make a prediction and have you be the arbiter? I'm not being confrontational, I honestly don't understand the "you better tell me now" comment...it's almost like you're talking down to people who believe in and root for Ithaca.
