very nice JT.  Great choice.

I'm out for the day, but I think this is going to be a fun week.

-- added bonus, realistic has 2 more days then 10 off.

In other NY news, how about Flynn for Syracuse tonight? He was lighting it up with Harris (both Niagara Falls products).  Flynn had 28pts 9 assts while Harris had 14pts and 15 boards (i think), these two cut down their turnovers and Syracuse could be inline for a very nice season.  They have the makings of a nice team over the next few years with Greene (fr), Flynn, Harris and Rautins when he comes back next year with 2 years remaining.

I watched the Syracuse game tonight.  Man do they have alot of young talent.  Flynn, Green, Harris, and Devendorf are all incredibly good players.  Onuaku is an absolute manchild under the basket.  If this team can cut down on the turnovers, and play better defense, look out.  Especially next season, they will be a national title contender.

Props to the Siena basketball team.  They kept it close against a young and talented Cuse team.  Every time they were down 15 points or so, they would cut it back to single digits.  They are a very good mid-major team and will most likely win their conference the MAAC.

they looked good last night.  Taking into account that it was Sienna, I think there is a lot to be excited about for the season (then again anything will be better than FB).  Obviously they have to work on the turnovers, but it is very early and I think that will come as Flynn gets more comfortable as the 1 and Devo can move full time to the 2.  The talent is incredible on that team and as someone else said, if they can keep this squad around for a few years, it can be scary good.  Also the JuCo transfer looks like he can be special too.  Veyr excited about the season, and I think Sienna is gonna be pretty good too.

The new head Mens Basketball Coach at NJCU is arguably the best pg Sienna ever had, Marc Brown.  He takes over for his father at NJCU this season.

Marc Brown was nasty...

He was better than his old man, and Charlie Brown is probably one of the best PG's to ever come out of Jersey City, and that is saying a lot.

Well does AU do it?

They do a better job of it than a lot of other teams do around here...

Yes.  So does Fisher, Wick, Utica, Norwich, and every other school in America.

I am getting the impression that you havent run many routes throughout your career and/or dont understand the basics of a passing game.

SJF has exactly ONE pass play where the WR reads the coverage and adjusts his route according to my 03 playbook. Also, I can still go to games and pick out %99 of the plays as they are signaled in from the sideline so pretty much nothing has changed.

I think Upstate is off in this argument

For those Bomber fans coming into Alliance...Welcome! Have a safe trip to and from. And it looks like a high of 46 Saturday...the open stands can be brutal especially with a northwest wind.

Something to think about...Mount's D scored more points (32) than they gave up (24) this season and most games the starters only played the first half.

Stuff like this is a reason why MUC is bad for D3 football.

Similiar arguments are made by anti-MLB fans who say the season is pointless since realistically only a couple of teams have the players and resources to compete for the WS title.

Still, MUC has earned the right be very confident.  Their 160-4 record is rediculasly good.

Maybe Denny Green can coach IC this weekend?

(You wanna crown their a$!?!!?!?!?!?!)

Numbers wise...what's the guesstimate on how many IC fans will make it to Alliance on Saturday?  Just curious on how well the fan base travels.  Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to the game...it's about 4 hours for me each way.  Best wishes to both teams...It should be an interesting game!

Does anyone know what happens to a high school senior in Ohio who is slightly undersized and is too dumb to get into Ohio State?

A.  Marry a sibling
B.  Embark on a career in urinal cake making
C.  Play football for Mount Union
D.  Try and apply to Cortland

Purpled, good to see you back. I inquired about you over on the OAC board but got no response.

Hope all is well - best of luck.

Bomber fans-

You guys heading down to Alliance, or are you waiting for an easier drive in round 2?

Im going to guess that there will be a good showing.  Im going to guess more than SJF brought last year.  (bigger alumni base?)

No clue, but I know Fisher brought a good crowd... although I wouldn't be able to put a number on it.

gobombers

You might even get some students there as well.  Too far/expensive for me to get there from NYC.

Just remember why you are playing Bombers!
