Generally one Rowan DB shut Garcon down in 2005.  Had Orihel not been hurt, Rowan wins.
This is 2007.

Dood... I'm just saying Garcon's good but a good DB can shut him down. I saw it first hand.  Need to keep Kmic in check with the LB's at the same time.

Garcon was shut down pretty well this year by Capital's James Starks.  One thing I think that is different about this year's passing attack is that last year, Garcon was the go to guy and beyond that the receiving corp was not as strong.  So when he was hurt, like in the Fisher game, the Raiders relied on the run, hence Kmic's 371 yards rushing.  This year, when Garcon missed a few games, the passing game did not suffer as much as Brandon Boehm and Bryson Davis have both stepped up.  Davis would be a #1 receiver if it wasn't for Garcon and is also a deep threat.  So even if Ithaca is able to shut down Garcon, the other receivers could step up, something we might not have seen last year.  It's part of what makes the Raiders so dangerous.

Good luck to the Bombers this week, I hope it's a good game, and based on what I've been reading on here about them, and the stats I've seen, I think it will be a good game and a tough test for the Raiders, probably the toughest yet.
The impossible CAN happen and eventually it WILL happen.

I agree, all this talk is useless, and has nothing to do with the games at hand.  Perhaps it's a diversion to the beating that may be at hand...

And Wasn't Garcon hurt or something last year?

that's what everyone will say, but one week later he had the game he did vs. Whitewater in the Stagg, so it's not a valid argument.

His hand didn't miraculously heal in one week.

Nope. But they learned and used him differently, if you watched the game.

unless your son is a senior on the Bombers, stay home. It wont be worth the trip. You should trust someone who knows both programs. It will be ugly, and it will be ugly quick. E8 doesnt really prepare you for the machine. HONESTLY, leaving emotion out of it, Raiders 44 bombers 0 at halftime.
Why would I trust a moron?  Ask MUC how prepared the E8 was last year in the Nat'l Semis

Come on Bombers!!!   Make some noise in Alliance!

i said my playing days are behind me, or dont u read in new york?
and nobody in d3 can cover pierre, the thought is comical.
and it was said, i assure you.
It probably was said...and b/c you are not a player (yeah right) you didnt hear it...so you probably have no idea what the context of the staement was.  Perhaps, the OL was respectful of his DL counterpart after a hard fought 12 pt battle...perhaps the OL felt compelled to say something complimentary to the man that he did battle with all afternoon...perhaps you have no clue in life...

Not everyone gets to watch the games...but most still try to have an informed opinion...if only those who saw the games posted and viewed this website Pat, there may not be one.

Perhaps the D-Lineman for Fisher said it in jest.

actually the bills scout was a crack on the lack of offensive playmakers the bills have.  and SJF was so well prepared they gave up 370 yards rushing to one player.
and dont fall trap to what you read on the empire 8 board, syracuse is the top college team there, and we all see where that has gone. its not gonna be close, they cant hang physically and they def def def can't run with the raiders.
and i dont play, mtu players handle themselves with class, and would never get on this board, plus they couldnt because how would they hold a conversation considering ithica uses all those big fancy words from the far superior education they paid for.
and we all wanna be like tommy gavin

This is sort of a knock on Fisher but it also takes away from that superior performance from Kmic because that wasn't even the most dominant performance by a rusher against Fisher that year.  Springfield in the regular season offered a better running game than what Fisher dealt with in Alliance, Sharpe had well over 200 yards and 7 touchdowns against Fisher in what would turn out to be a shoot out.  Grant it Fisher was missing some defensive starters, but what Mount Union did against us was no different than something that a strong E8 team is capable of doing if you don't come to play.  So spare us of how Mount was able to destroy Fisher as no other team had done that year.

That said, Kmic you are welcome to finish your career in Fisher

fisheralum91

did anybody read the team capsules?
under how far will they go---in the east bracket every one says the road ends in alliance.

hmmm.

they have already crowned muc--so why bother play the games right?

god- i just wish somebody would beat them already!
