If Ithaca can figure how to manipulate the E8 Lattice, then they can beat MUC easily.

;)

Max that dude is at UCSD, make him explain this to you.

I think he's only at UCSD, like literally, in that picture. Says he spends most of his time in Maui.

The closest I get to science exposure here is a) computer music and b) trying to teach a bunch of undergrad engineers about the Beatles.
:D :D :D

Travel safely!

Good luck and safe travels to all teams and fans.

More good news for bombers fans... MIOH was just checking Mt. Union's unofficial website and noticed that the Bombers edge the purple folks in every statistical category

... for punting

Go bombers

on an unrelated note....

Pat:

"and with only 16 games that matter in Week 12 (sorry, ECAC bowl game teams),"

I mean, don't you think sentences like this undermine, um, a LOT of what DIII football is really all about? It's pretty snotty... I mean we're all DIII fans because we have a personal stake in something here. How annoying is it to hear DI fans talk about the "only games that matter (sorry DII and DII)"? As has been reiterated, everyone appreciates what you and the team do here. But the journalistic tone on this website is often pretty sarcastic and smug, and it can make for a pretty dismissive reading experience. I know it's a column, but, it's a column written by the guy that runs the website, which pretty much makes it the official website position.

I think the line you're trying to draw between D-I's treatment of D-III and D-III's treatment of the ECAC's is a little bit of a stretch. However, I do see where you're coming from.

I don't agree with it but it's certainly valid for some to care about the ECAC's. We just can't devote one second of time to them during the NCAA playoffs.

What do you mean, "you don't agree with it"?  You don't agree with the ECAC games? or you don't agree that people, including the players, parents, coaches and students, of those teams should care about the ECAC games?  Backpeddling is worse....you shoulda just said it was mistake to make that comment, instead of trying to justify it.  Clearly nobody is asking, nor did Maxpower ask you to "devote one second to" the ECAC games, however, YOU DID devote 1 second to them, and the I second you chose to devote was to 'Smite' the importance of the games.

guys guys guys, i know the sabres are playin bad now but they will get out of it, no need to insult them like that.
and a bills scout will be in alliance saturday, no pun intended for the nyers, but he wont be there for anyone from ithaca.

Honestly, there isnt one guy on MUC's roster that would make it past a work out.....

Honestly, you're wrong but that's your opinion.  People paid to scout college talent would disagree.

Ironic twist: Your Buffalo Bills thought enough of a former Mount Union QB to add him to your roster a few years back.  Now that's honest...and funny!

He was a poster on here for a while I believe...

He was...but I haven't seen him on here in awhile.  Last I heard he was named the Commissioner of the Continental Indoor Football League.

Top 50 easy.

13 years --- .317 lifetime avg & 98% fielding percentage

Intagibles --- tons of class, humble, & an incredible leader

Top 50 no question - And I'm a sox fan :)

Yeah and when he dove head first into hard seat to catch that foul ball, even the Sox fans had to appreciate that.  I don't know if Lowell has the swing for Yankee stadium.  He's perfect for the green monster.  Is he anything but a warning track power hitter at Yankee stadium?

It's time to think about what we'll all be serving at Thanksgiving Dinner.
Here are a few recipes that we're asking our E8 teams to bring to the E8Nation Thanksgiving Spread:

Go Fisher...bring pumpkin pie! (Beat the Pumpkinheads!)

Go Hartwick....bring corn curry! (Curry the kernels!)

Go Ithaca....bring cookies! (Knock the Mount!)

Go Alfred....bring bread! (Bake the Bumble Bees!)

Jeter and A Rod were considered the two best in the 90's but actually the best shortstop at the time was Omar Vizquel.

Great point KS --- Vizquel was nasty... talk about a great glove

I haven't been able to get on either the Stretch Internet site, nor the ICB site, but I got this Mt Union site to work.

Interesting, listening to the Mt Union site, Coach Kehres said that he thinks that some of the success of their defense was due to facing such young offenses this year, with first year starting QBs....

Well boys, who thought we'd be here after week 4? Thanks for the ride, Bombers.
