Real quick:  Congrats SJF...AND to my wife who delivered our twin girls earlier today! Chloe and Alison

Do not know much about IC game...but looks like you guys scored more pts in one game than the entire OAC did against MUC on the season.

Just came home to get clothes, download pics and look at the scores.

Thanks to 'SJF Fan' for texting me updates all day  +k

Cannot wait to get caught up later this week.

GO FISHER!!!!

Does anyone know if Mount's game will be televised?   If so, do you know the details?   Thanks.

According to the Mt Union web site the game will be on WIVM tonight at 8PM and Sunday at 1 PM.

I'm assuming I won't be able to tune in via internet right?

Here's their web site.  They have a link to Titan TV which appears to provide programing over the internet.  I've never tried it.  Good luck.

+k indeed to '82.

Well, Ithaca didn't beat MUC. But with any luck, the weekend will still be salvaged when the Bills beat New England at home tomorrow.

One thing that hurt the bombers today were some redzone mistakes.  Mt. Union really did not stop Ithaca all day throwing the ball.   It was also obviously clear that IC could not run the ball at all, and werent going to be successfull at it.  Of course they had to just to keep MUC honest and to bring the LBs up, but it didnt work all day. And then when IC got into the redzone, the wishbone team came in and of course couldnt run, and with Hogan and Heenehan and Crandall out, the speed to get open isnt there either.  And the bootleg out of that formation kind of baffeled me too.  I mean, MUC has a corner, OLB, Safety and a DE on that side basically with just the IC TE and maybe one of the backs to help out.  Those 2-3 redzone mistakes for the bombers hurt them the most.

And MUC should have run the no huddle the whole game.  I read the recap and their coach was absoutly right.  They needed to pick up the pace in the third quarter and they did with the two killer drives of the day.  The first half for MUC was really only 3 big plays.  Besides those I thought IC did a good job.

Congrats to IC, you guys showed that MUC is in fact mortal...  TCNJ will get triple monkey stomped... Thanks tags for the updates... and the RPI coaches made a really bad coaching decision too...cost them the game... the ll goes 0-2 again...

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

I was so hoping for RPI to go to Alliance next week....

Congrats to Ithaca for a great game today.  You guys played hard for all four quarters and did yourselves very proud.  I was very impressed with your hustle and especially your kick returns--great blocking, good quick cuts, etc.

I think the two big factors were lack of consistency in the passing game--several times you had us beat badly but the catch wasn't made--and the inability to run on our D.

It was the most exciting game we've had all season--good luck next year--maybe we can meet again in the future!

Oh, and congrats to '82--+K from me as well.
Reloading--Again, and again, and again....

Well at least IC showed well against MUC. They may not have won the game, but they did the east proud.
Is Mount Union really all they say they are? I was at the Fisher game, so I only have scores to go by.

Hartwick..How was Curry? They appear to be better than I had given them credit for. I thought Hartwick would have a real shot at winning today.

Fisher took care of business today. I was impressed with the Hobart Defense. They were able to keep the Fisher offense off the scoreboard. Fisher had a lot of drives that stalled inside the 25 yard line. Fisher defense is much improved from the last time I saw them play (Ithaca). Should be another fun set of games next week.

Congrats to IC and Wick for great seasons, and to '82 for the Twins...

I think a lot of us were, but at the end of the day though, the East is sending a team that faced a legit team in week 1 (Muhlenberg), later in the season when faced with a game to decide their conference beat Cortland by a 30 point shut out, and now has beaten RPI - maybe they are being underestimated . . .

Their loss to Keane though . . . that does give me pause.

Yea MUC is great, but its not like they look like a d1-AA team out there or anything.  Sizewise, they are what you would expect any good d3 team to be.  Olinemen over 6'2 and more than 275, small running backs and recievers (besides Garcon who is a 1-AA player).

The only weakness I saw from them was their dbacks.  And then again, I should give more credit to Ithaca for really comming up with some amazing throws, catches, routes and passblocking.

Their run defense was by far the thing that I was impressed with the most.  #33 and #22 are probably the 2 best dlinemen in the country.  Linebackers in dlinemen bodies.  And #47 is a monster middle linebacker.  I was also suprised though that they really didnt have a great pass rush, even when they blitzed.

And the field posisition game can be won as their punter was (is?) horrible.  But you better have a good punt and kickoff coverage team because they have great return teams.  IC did a good job with them today.

And Ive seen Curry too.  And they too look like a solid team.  If you had Curry and MUC change uniforms and just looked at them in pads, you wouldnt be able to tell the difference. (except for MUC's #47s arms).  They have a big line and have a power running game.  Decent QB and a few good tall recievers.
