pg- i wasnt trying to disrespect ic--- just that a 3+ td cushion to a team that played muc the best anybody has in 2 seasons seems a little much.

Um, sorry to burst your cardinal red balloon, but that distinction goes to Capital.  Then Whitewater.  Then SJF.  Sorry, but when a TB rushes for 371 yards by himself against you, that isn't the toughest competition.

Here's the question for SJF, are they the ones that will be overconfident coming off of last year?  Many time we've seen a team play MUC pretty close the first time to only then get blitzed the 2nd time.  Wheaton and St. John's both fell into this trap.  Does SJF do this too?

Personally, I bet SJF thinks they're closer to Mount than they really are.   I'm also looking for a HUGE game from the Raider passing game simply because SJF will be set against Kmic killing them again.  Hence too much focus on Kmic.

HScoach you keep brining up the 371 yards, but how many points did you win by...and if the field goal had not been blocked and the long snaper had not sent the ball into the back of the end zone what is the score then my friend, Yes Kmic was incredible on that day, but my feeling is fisher had to decide what they were going to stop and Nate was not it...will he run for that much again NO, but stop harping on 371 yards, if that was really an impresive stat they would of won by 21 not 12...

When you guys let go of the "SJF was the toughest team" stuff, then I'll let go of the 371 yards.   ;D

hscoach, I've never said that Fisher played Mount the toughest last year...I would think that that honor would have to go to Capital on the second try, but listen to that, second try, UWW also had seen Mount before and knew what to expect, yes Kmic was incredible on that day, but I think Fisher Proved they can hang with Mount, and I think this will be a close game, and you guys should really be giving fisher more respect because remember players read the boards no reason to give them any bulletin board material...Lets have a good fun week, and enjoy some great football...

I'm more interested to see/hear the atmosphere at MUC vs.the atmosphere I witnessed at SJF yesterday.  Even with school out of session this weekend, SJF packed in a loud and hefty crowd in Pittsford.  It's been explained to me that the facilities at MUC are great, but the fans are about as vocal as PGA Tour fans.  I think the loudmouths on this board from MUC should work on getting their own fans fired up instead of shooting venom on this board.  I'll call the atmosphere and sound like I see them on Saturday, so give me something to praise instead of question.

Frank from what I remember, the press box is pretty impressive, the tailgate is very impresive, gives a great atmosphere there, but then once the game starts it's like they're watching a tennis game...meanwhile at that game a large part of fisher was at that game and the students were all painted up and going nuts...   Should be a fun game...

Kira & Jaxon's Dad

Frank,

The stands on the West (Covered) side have an average age about 76, and they normally don't stand and cheer unless they hook up an electric shocking system to the bleachers.

The MTU fans on the Open (Visitors) side are a bit more vocal, but some of them tend to partake in a few too many tailgate beverages and can be a bit obnoxious.

If it is a close game, the atmosphere should be fairly good, but if it is a blowout, then the fans are a bit spoiled and won't cheer much.

I have not been in the new press box, but I am sure Pat, Kieth, Ric and HSCoach can give you the lowdown on that.  The only negative I have heard is that there are some blind spots with the way the windows were installed.  Not full-width windows.

Have a safe trip and enjoyable visit to Alliance.

With the exception of hscoach and a couple of others most MUC fans act like they accuse us Yankee fans of acting.

Go SJF invade and conquer the Ohitians.

I hate to harp on last year....but.....boy I had even forgot about the bad snap out of the endzone.  In hindsight it didnt cost us because the FG was blocked, but talk about the very few MUC posters and some MUC apologists who want to paint the picture of last year's game with one stat:  Kmic's rushing yards.  Like SM57 or booby said....rush for 600 yds this year, just dont snap one out of the endzone and next time you are down 5 with minutes to go in the 4th and you are at the "Machine's" 17 yard line...by God, go for it on 4th down...take your one shot!!!

Note to self...and fellow SJF loyalists...do not get caught up in the BS banter by some MUC posters about how we were lucky last year and this time will be different...they know damn well (if they were there) what SJF brought to the table last December and what will be coming to the table this Saterday!

With all that said...MUC is Apollo Creed after Rocky I when he claimed that Rocky was a fluke and that next time he was going to bury him.  Well we all know what happened in Rocky II....and I am not talking about the birth of 'Rocky Jr'

Adrienne: "Rocky (questioning)...just one more thing..."

Rocky: (slurring) "Yeh ?"

Adrienne:  "WIN!!!"

cue inspirational background music.

GO CARDINALS!!!

now this is good stuff- thanks for the chucke boys!

superman57

so in E8 fantasy news, Tags has clinched the #1 seed in the playoffs, superman takes #2 with a win today and he will also eliminate  robby from the playoffs... MIOH is going to be the 3 seed but he is in no matter what, and there is a whole jumble of teams fight for the 4 seed
