However, "Being close" last year means nothing and will mean nothing this year either.
I completely disagree....but to make a long post short...go ask RunninRobby25 and Lang and Co. if battling MUC to the end at Alliance in the Final 4 means anything to them...and my 2 cents is that whatever it does mean now, will multiply over the years...

I guess, but they would have much rather won.

That is a safe bet...

Losman throws an INT... please edwards, now... The season is over just do it.

Im not going to say he would be ashamed of the season, but I bet hes pissed that they lost.  And going into the game, they didnt expect to lose.
Of course they were pissed they lost...that is what competiveness does to ya...yet the years will pass and the "pissed" will be replaced with some comfort knowing that they brought the weight of an entire school and thousands of alum and former players to the very brink of the pinnacle....how many former college players, at any level, get to look back upon that?

True.  But I still have some anger from a playoff loss that has not been replaced with much comfort 10+ years later.......

I hear ya...but you did play at IC right where tradition meant you won national play-off games...Robinson and Co. had little play-off tradition in their rear-view mirrors and will look back and see that they did something very special in the context of their School and their program's hsitory...and they will still be a little "pissed"...

Luckily my final collegiate game was against Thiel College...and we won handily

I wanted to say congrats to SJF for their big win over Curry yesterday.  I wasn't surpised after watching Curry play the week before against 'Wick.  Good luck this week against MUC...anyone on here going out to that one???

I heard via text message from a fan at the game vs. Hobart - Congrats! I'm sure you're enjoying the little ones almost as much as you'd enjoy being in Ohio!

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

I'm hoping they take a bus down again this year so students can get there - it plays a huge part for the guys I think. Either way I'm going - hopefully making a short road trip out of it  :)  I took Dec. 1 off of work 2 weeks ago  ;)

Hey fellas,

It was a pleasure doing the game w/ Frank Rossi on Saterday... too bad I hear that the feed wasn't too great.  Either way, it looks like I'm going to be doing this weekends game in Alliance which I can't wait to do.  It will be quite an experience being able to sit back and watch what it's like being in this atmosphere rather than playing in it.  I can hardly remember last year's game b/c it went by so fast... well let me rephrase that... I remember it very well (unfortunately) but it did fly by and all the sudden, that was that.

Injury update-- Stepnick's initial prognosis was a broken fibula... however, after x-rays they determined it's a high ankle sprain.  I spoke to Steve last night and he was in high spirits and has no plan on sitting out this weekends game.  The big question will be how healthy he will be?

Great job by Fisher getting it done against a team everyone knew they were better at.  They should have won the game by 50-- I'm still waiting to see Fisher play to what they are capable of... If they do that this week, there's no doubt in my mind they can make a re-peat trip to the FINAL 4.

Losman is completely done for me now.  I will no longer defend him.

That is all.

Well, FWIW, he seems fairly easy to defend. Opponents have no trouble doing it.
