Is there any word on Stepnick's status? Obviously he would be a big loss for Fisher.
The last word I heard it was a sprain, but is he going to be able to play? Is he going to be able to go anywhere near full speed?

Robby, who talked to Stepnick after the game, said its a high ankle sprain.  I guess he wants to play for sure.  Will he be 100%?  I doubt it.  High ankle sprains are usually nagging and very painful.  Hopefully, if he cant go, Bostick or Ahmed can step in and get er done.

If Bill Belichik could take away Karma, he would be taking some away from you two for being so generous with your injury updates!

God some of these Mount Union people are getting annoying, they use this tautological argument that covers basically any type of game that you can play against Mount Union.  If it is an extreme blowout (all of those countless 50+ point victories) then Mount Union is just a superior team that is firing on all cylinders.  But if you play Mount Union close then they were just masking things and only running half their offense because they don't believe in blowing teams or style points it's just get the victory.  Then sure enough they blow out another team by more than 50 and it's back to the amazing superiority and nobody can stop any aspect of their game.  Yeah that doesn't get annoying....And don't even try and convince them otherwise because like I said, they have a circular argument that you just can't penetrate.  

Yeah, when your team is winning to the extreme that Mount Union wins, it does get rather tautological.    Either Mount is going to win by 56 points or Mount is going to win by less than that in order to prevent its true strengths from being revealed on film.

82- I dont pick it up in Utica - but often the live feed is posted on the fisher site and i listen then.
Unfortunately im going to be huddled by my phone in the middle of a big fam function.  Cant really sit at a computer and be reclusive with 7 kids under the age of 5 running around the parents house.

Good luck to SJF this week and safe travels to the fans making the trip to Alliance.  I'm not going to use any tautological arguments (great use of vocabulary by the way) to make a case for MUC to come away with a W.  I will say that this is the best Mount Union team I've seen in the past 12 years and a team needs to play a nearly perfect game to beat them.  Is it out of the question for SJF to come in and shock the D3 world?  Logical fans will tell you absolutely not; that's why the games are played on Saturdays and not on Post Patterns.  Hopefully, we will have a good game on Saturday, and I personally hope that Mount continues its dominant run to the Stagg Bowl.

Having a team dominant in one sport like that reminds me of Hobart Lax in the 80's and 90's...
Now they are D1 playing (very well i may add) against the best of the best.
As a fan im sure that i wouldnt tire of the alma mater winning that much, but i would wonder what if in terms of a step up....

Seriously-- does MU draw big crowds for the home games-do fans stay for the whole game- there seems never to be any drama or intensity --games are essentially over by the half--if MU wins out by 50+ this year and does it again next year and the year after is that a good thing for the game--of course I know the answer but what's to be done

For me, it doesn't get old, but it seems to some other fans it does.  I can't make it to as many games as I used to as I moved 600 miles south, but there are some fans that seem to expect 50 point beatings every week and make ZERO noise during games.  Personally, I love winning week in and week out.  As far as playing up, if I was running things, I wouldn't consider it.  The difference between D3 and D2 is a big step in terms of atheltic ability on the field.  I love D3 football and that's a big part of the reason that I wouldn't want a move up, plus I would hate to see what would happen to attendance at games if Mount actually lost a few games a year.
