I may have missed this a few pages back, but I have to ask.  I keep seeing posters saying that Stepnick is questionable for this game.  What is the injury he is dealing with?
They should have practiced harder.

In the first quarter of the previous game stepnick hurt his ankle. It's believed to be a high ankle sprain and apparantly it's not a break. I just heard in class that perhaps, to be catious, another xray will be taken just to make sure... something about swelling? But it's only hear - say. As of right now, for sure, it's a high ankle sprain. . .

Actually I think our kick return coverage is pretty horrid, they seem to break through the first wave with relative ease and I personally counted at least 10 times this year where if not for Stepnick getting to the return man, they might have taken it back for some serious damage.  And I think Garcon does some kick returns?  If so that's not a good scenario for us.

my error upstate. i did just see my stupidity and saw who asked :-[ im a rookie...  and a girl haha. not to worry - stepnick has no intention of sitting this game out and is well prepared to kill garcon ;)

I hope that Stepnick is good to go on Saturday as I am hoping for a competitive game, and if this guy is as good as advertised, he could be a difference maker.

booby: Garcon does return kicks.  I don't know his stats or anything like that, but in the games I saw, he is absolutely electric with the ball in his hands and a running start.

Back in my day it was horrid (allowed at least 3 KOs for TDs and several that were tackled inside our own 20 in 2 years), these guys have been doing a fantastic job.  To allow only 18yds per return is pretty impressive...
