Eh, with Mark graduated I don't really have that much incentive to drive down this year. I probably would have just to see Mt. Union in person - but being that I made the trip last year I've already done that.

I've pretty much resigned myself to home games, although I did make the trip over to Ithaca this year.

I wish, I had two days off, if I did, I would be there in a heartbeat but I have to work Sunday, so no way to make a 8 hour drive in 1 day

Okay here's the reason: "The Day of Celebration" is an event on the same day as MU vs. Fisher game. It's an event of diversity and SGA is trying to promote the Diversity office and they're committing themselves to that - and that they didn't want to fund a bus to take away from the student community that might take away from this event. - Straight from the Prez of SGA.

-- to compensate, he said that because SGA donated $350 dollars to "The Day of Celebration" event, they felt it was only fair to donate the same amount of money to the students for the game and bought tickets -- which can be purchased ahead of time tomorrow and thursday for $4 for students and $8 for adults.

He also said that RSA is looking into getting a bus but they're running into problems because of the short notice. HERE'S HOPING!

Tell them to get off their lazy azz and call Covered Wagon --- 607-324-4200

They aren't trying at all if they "can't find one" ... If they wanted to, they could easily find one. Fisher & it's students need to get more involved with bringing a little excitement to this football program at Fisher, it's absolutely ridiculous.

Pep by himself brings more students to away games than Fisher can bring out for home games... the FDC had more at Growney than the Student section, etc - it's a joke.

Ok Tags,

I've got to disagree with you here...There are only so many buses available and when you have so much going on it becomes hard to get one, There was more than one ocasion where a bus company called what ever club or team I was working with and told us they had to cancel they overbooked...so it's not that easy...it's possible, but they also have to decide if they can afford it, and unfortunatly DoC is a big thing at fisher and any fisher student can attest, while their might not be any students at the event it's a big press and public event for fisher...Superman being the only Jewish student at fisher always did the Hanukkah table...

Utah, went to the Everett vs. BC High Playoff game tonight in Lowell....left at halftime, Everett up 28-0.

Not sure if Everett looked that dominant or BC High looked AWEFUL!!!!!!!

yea I had to work and I missed the games.

Everett, and the Everett coaching staff are the real deal.  They are the best in Massachusetts and no other school even comes close to those guys do.  Xaverian and BC Highs (and a lot of catholic schools besides CM) playcalling baffles me all the time...

If bringing up sexuality is crossing the line than so is refering to women as hefers.  Personally as a former dairy farm boy I think the cows should be insulted be compared to humans.

KS, I think that is still better done, than calling all of fisher homosexuals,  Whitewater...is in the middle of nowhere...

Let me guess SJF is in a huge metropolis  HA HA HA HA HA.   Your Geography is as bad as your spelling.  WW is 45 min from Milwaukee and about 90 min from Chicago.

Went to the game with a buddy.  We were joking that every BC High pass play looked like a jailbreak screen, and every run was stopped for a loss.  The BC crowd was screaming for the coaching staff to throw every down....two points, the o-line was barely slowing down the d-line and to your previous point, BC's qb wasn't very good.  With that relentless Everett rush, I think BC High threw 1 screen in the 1st half......brutal play calling.

I'm going to venture out there and say Rochester itself...you know the place where the college is at is bigger than wherever Whitewater is, making his statement valid.  Way to cite cities 45 and 90 minutes away though, I guess that makes Whitewater have more people?  And those 45 and 90 minute drives to get to those cities....I bet it's surrounded by a bunch of nowhere (dairy farms, rural towns, etc.  don't deny it), and Whitewater is smack in the middle of it.

Rochester itself has about 220,000 city population, metro over a million.  Then there is Buffalo just down the road, Syracuse flanked on the other side, and Toronto is a short drive away...What's your point?

fisheralum91

lil sis- her is hoping that you make the game on sat----just look for the doctors when you get there!!

fisheralum91

wow- tags---that was kinda tough on lil sis dontcha think :P

More importantly...How did the old stadium look?

Boobyhasgameyo,

Growing up in Webster (one of Rochester's suburbs for those from elsewhere), I have to say that you're use of Buffalo, Syracuse, and even Toronto is doing the exact same thing as you're criticizing.  Maybe that was your point, though.  Buffalo's an hour away, Syracuse is an hour and a half, and Toronto is three and a half from Rochester (even the moronic ferry wasn't much faster).  You can be driving through cornfields in 20 minutes after leaving the War Memorial.  And between Rochester and those other cities?  You pass farmland if you're lucky!  It's mostly just a corridor of the most boring, featureless landscape with I-90 running through the middle of it.  Although I do have to admit, driving from Webster to Mount Union when I was going to school there, it was the drive from Buffalo to the Erie that was the most boring part of the whole trip.

Yes, Rochester itself may be bigger than Whitewater's hometown, but you're listing cities even farther away than the other poster was.  But, like I said, maybe that was your point.
