Ok first off, WWW fan, read my signiture, it's just how I roll,  Secondly if you read farther down you will see that KS and superman had a conversation about most of Upstate NY is rural which is why I found it funny....  and Yes I think you can say that Rochester is bigger than Whitewater, hell, Pittsford, is probably bigger than Whitewater

and while we're at it, Rochester is only 6 hours from NYC and 7 hours or so from Boston so haha....

Got it, you win.  Everyone in WI lives on a farm and makes cheese at their dairy.  And in the winter we build igloos and trade furs with the Indians. Oh and don't forget they we all talk like we were in the movie Fargo.   I missed the second post where you explained why you thought it was funny.  Was more pissed at the MUC tards that made the stupid thing.  I hope SJF beats the $H!t out of MUC

See, at that point you just need to laugh and say ok...  sorry man, not all wis. is cows, but Whitewater sure is... and so is the majority of Wisconsin... but that's ok as long as all you do is "milk the cows"

Hell I'm not even in WI anymore  I'm in a bigger barren wasteland... Afghanistan!!!!

god bless and thank you

One good thing about being here is that I will be able to watch the Dallas/GB game tomorrow morning unlike about 2/3 of the US.

Good, I hope they give you guys as many luxuries big or small as possible until you can come home.

+K kubiack for doing what you do.

Jose -

Did you catch the Rays trading Delmon for Matt Garza, Bartlett, and a bullpen prospect?  I like the deal.  I also like their new stadium plans down by the bay.  Things are looking up.

Sooper57 and Booby thanks guys,  but just to clear things up I'm not military anymore.  I'm here by choice.  I'm one of those scumbag security contractors that the Democrats hate.

SGA still has about 45 FREE tickets left to the SJFC/Mt. Union Game!
Pick them up TODAY(Thursday, 11/29) from 12:30-1:30pm in the Campus Center Atrium.
**If they do not get picked up by 1:30pm, the Campus Center Managers will be giving them away again starting at 4:00pm until they run out.

Just a reminder: NO BUSES will be provided to the game, there were absolutely no bus companies with any buses to use.
We are deeply sorry about this :-(

**Also, remember the rules:
-You MUST be present to get a ticket
-Only one ticket with Student ID
-Tickets are FREE to the first 45
-Tickets will be given to full-time, undergraduate students only

We believe that WE WILL WIN!

This was an e-mail I got this morning - sent to all students.
I just wanted to high light that part - because late yesterday afternoon when I called to get a quote through US Coachways I received one within minutes after giving dates of travel.... which probably means a bus was available.

Now I'm really annoyed. I'd like to address this with SGA but unsure how without sounding like an irrational five year old who didn't get her way....

ouch lil sis!
I still have my fisher ID from the old days- maybe i should make the trip just to get a ticket!!! :P

PBR...

l'il sis....pbr thinks if you keep the tone and conversation away from sounding like your attacking and accusing individuals you will be fine(wont necessarily be easy since your ticked off)...you have every right to question who tried to schedule buses and let them know you inquired about buses and got an immediate response w/ a quote. to pbr this is all part of the college experience and to not even offer a bus for students is red-iculous!! you pay how much money a year to go there and they cant even offer up a freakin bus? pbr would definetly question it and bring it up

little sister

Should I just send an e-mail?
Throughout the week I'd asked John Snyder, the Co-President? or VP of SGA about a bus and he told me it was due to the commitment to the "Day of Celebration" - - yesterday (because he's in my class) when I said I had personally tried to get a bus together he laughed and said "good luck getting one." And I said there's one available - I already tried. He seemed a little surprised and said oh yeah? ... but I don't think he cares.

I'm also wondering if Jackie Morrison, who is listed as the President of SGA, is going anyway. She "tapes ankles" and "fills waterbottles" for the guys on the side lines. Which makes me a little bit more irrate - why would she care, she's going anyway.

I'll pretend I like to fill waterbottles and drive a golf cart around if I can get on that bus to Alliance.

I like football way too much :-[ maybe I'm the only student who's annoyed.

lil sis,
One--you may be fighting a losing battle here because of the sheer lack of time, but i would make my point at least heard!
Also i think that this game is a little more "collegiate" and polarizing than the other activity that you stated.
That being said--me thinks that you are going to be behind the wheel on sat..  Make sure to bring a friend to at least offset costs!

I agree FA. I just had a woman from Trailways return a phone call to me a minute ago saying they were all booked. I did ask her if costs in the 2,000 range were average because that was the quote I got for US Coachways. Before I send off an e-mail I'm going to call US coachways and make sure a bus was available instead of making myself sound redic. I just want to make the point to SGA that they probably didn't try hard enough, they need a die hard fan like me for travel arrangements!

If I'm lucky, I might be able to ride with the parents of a player - even if it means driving to Buffalo @ 4 in the morning! Tags is really against me driving to Ohio. I'll find a way somehow.

as a big bro myself- id be leery of you driving that long by yourself too- esp if there is a question about the car.
I would get the quote from the bus co and cc it to the sga to prove that they really didnt try hard enough.....Arent there any more vocal fans beside you to make a stink?
If you do go---have  a great time!
