Maybe it's just me, but how many of the bigmouths who support MUC have actually played one single down on the field for MUC.  Don't get me wrong, I think it's fantastic when people rally around a team and support them....All the 'We' BS over there, makes me feel that alot of those 'Bandwagoners' are simply that....on the winning bandwagon.

Has hscoach, reality check, runyr, ric or seventies ever worn a 'Raiders' helmet......I doubt it!!

Support the team, but drop the 'we' unless you have helped to actually build the program and enjoy the fruit of that hard work....

For the most part, they are 'bandwagon', much the same way I am a 'bandwagon' New England Patriots fan....

I can only think of one way to shut them up...

U89 usually keeps his duct tape and handcuffs in his bedroom, though -- at least, that's the rumor around these parts...

It would help if RC was a graduate of Mount Union, wouldn't it?  RC graduated from and played for Ohio Northern.

As for the other guys, I wouldn't call them bandwagon fans just because they didn't play for MUC.  Not everyone is gifted enough to play at the DIII level.  Ric has been following Mount Union football since he was "Little Ric."  Check out his website.  You'll have to ask hscoach exactly how long he's been around, but he's been around quite awhile.  Seventiesraider, I believe derives his name from his graduating class, but I'm not positive.  Most of the MUC posters are not bandwagon fans.  Also, would you consider current students (like the Purple Suit guys...I know you guys love them), or recent graduates "bandwagon fans?"  Mount had already won 7 national titles by the time this year's senior class chose Mount Union.  Do you understand the slippery slope you're going down here?

I would take the "we" thing one step farther.  If you're not a member of the current team, it's not "we."  I've never used "we" or "us" to describe the play of a team on the field.  I don't play for that team, I didn't go through practice in the summer, etc.

U89 did play for Union ......I guess thats not that impressive either though.....

It's kinda sad... Seeing "Saterday" no longer signals that "potential spelling mistake" alarm inside my head... Hope I have no legal briefs concerning days of the week coming up any time soon...

Just posted this on the OAC board.

Do you think having Coach Faggiano prepping the D the whole week will help them out a bit more?  Last year he left the country to pick up his adopted Son on Tuesday and made it back before kickoff.

Emass superbowls are back at Foxboro Stadium again.  And they will be on TV38 too!  Jonathan Kraft is a d3 guy (Williams) maybe he can throw a d3 game on primetime every once in a while now!

SJFF82

According to the poll above...77.5% believe MUC will win by any margin...I bet it is more like 97.5% if all voters were neutral and otherwise unbiased voters...

Revised prediction:

SJF 27

MUC 21

I dreamed that to be the score last night...the operative word of course being "dreamed".  Nonetheless...SJF will win!!!

Now that's funny.  Really puts the dynasty in perspective.
