"Welcome to Mount Union, where we now have 6 losses in 12 years instead of 5..."

Well, technically, with this year being the 12th year a loss tomorrow would be the 5th loss in the last 12 seasons, but who's counting?

:)

Hey boys, heading back to work for awhile then hitting the road to Alliance around 4.
Hope to see a strong Fisher crowd there like last year, for those of you who can't make the trip, you know where to tune in!!!!

Safe travels for all, Talk to you on Sunday!
Frank, call me when you get there Saterday

It's kinda sad... Seeing "Saterday" no longer signals that "potential spelling mistake" alarm inside my head... Hope I have no legal briefs concerning days of the week coming up any time soon...
No sh#$...my mind actually triggers 'spelling error' when I see the CORRECT spelling of "Saturday"...

agreed here as well.  We have a client Holiday party this saterday and I caught one time I spelled Saterday in an email but not the second time.  oopps.

little sister

Frank the Tank... see you at the game tomorrow ;)

Little miss princess gets her way again!!

GO FISHERWEEEE... LIKE IT HERE, WE LIKE IT HERE! LET'S GET 'EM
I Love Fisher Football

PBR...

be safe in your travels lil sis....good luck to fisher tomorrow

Is it just me, or has the D&C not run any articles about this week's game?  I've been looking around the website the second half of the week, and all I can find is the write-up of last week's game.  I hope they do more coverage next year or at least in '09 when Fisher hosts.

The pathetic D&C is too busy covering the remnants of another city's lousy a$$ football season (Syracuse) to the prejudice of some very good local, albeit D3, college athletic programs...

SAFE TRAVELS TO ALL TODAY AND TOMORROW!!!

Here in Raider country the use of "we" is not just for the former players to use. It refers to an all inclusive community of MUC lovers. Please do not confuse it with the Royal We which is exclusively inclusive, as you know. ;)

Now that Ive cleared that up......please let me in on the joke, why do you guys refer to Saturday as Saterday? There must be a good story that goes along with it.

Sorry to hear that your defense will not be at  full stregnth. Thats football! Maybe your training staff can get ahold of whatever Michigan gave to Chad Henne to kill the pain in his shoulder seperation. He could hardly lift that arm in the Ohio State game, then goes into the locker room and comes out 5 minutes later ready to sling bombs downfield. Might be just the ticket for a high ankle sprain. ;)

That sort of privileged information will cost the MUC defense 2 tds on Saterday... ;)

Someone else might better know the whole story, but on the E8 board we have a rich history of current players, coaches and SIDs, comming onto the board and making stupid statments, the most famous one of all would be a Nick Gatto of Alfred who said something along the lines of of I'll see you on the field on saturday but spelled Saturday as saterday and since then it is tradition to spell saterday with an e and not an u

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

"This is Frank Rossi, with an interesting development this almost-Saterday from Alliance, Ohio.  St. John Fisher has already scored twice in the big game, making the score 14-0 in favor of the Cardinals, with 15 minutes left in the first quarter.  We'll update you if any more score changes occur before the clock begins ticking."

Hey...according to my dream last night, SJF won 27-21 and the game is already over....so turn the Volvo around Frank and come on home... ;)

and then Gatto's team was promptly defeated by Ithaca, making it even funnier.  I think the Alfred poster this year (the silly goat maybe?) was funny when he said something to the tune of have fun rebuilding Ithaca and Fisher and good luck in the ECAC's....His team then goes on to lose to Ithaca and Fisher in consecutive weeks, Fisher and Ithaca both make it to the tournament and Alfred is the one that ends up in the ECAC's.  I like Alfred and their posters with the exception of that guy so it's not meant to dig at them, it was just funny and a touch ironic.

you in Alliance already Frank?   Where you staying?  Last year I stayed in some fancy-a$$ hotel downtown...got there at 1am right before the bar closed, but the bartender was kind enough to pack me up a nice 3-pack of Labatt blue to take to my room where I remained restless and sleepless until morn.

Its killin me not be on the road there now...the new twins have me in lock-down...

Fancy hotel in downtown Alliance?  I don't think there exists such a place.  Maybe in Canton?
