Maybe it's just me, but how many of the bigmouths who support MUC have actually played one single down on the field for MUC.  Don't get me wrong, I think it's fantastic when people rally around a team and support them....All the 'We' BS over there, makes me feel that alot of those 'Bandwagoners' are simply that....on the winning bandwagon.

After forty years, I guess it's ok if only Mom and Dad remember you played football, if of course Dad was still alive and Mom could remember anything. Beyond that, my late brother "Raider66" and I shared seats for Mount games back, long before the current era. The kids I coach can call me a bigmouth, but I gotta draw the line somewhere. I'd love Mount Union with or without a winning football team.

It's kinda sad... Seeing "Saterday" no longer signals that "potential spelling mistake" alarm inside my head... Hope I have no legal briefs concerning days of the week coming up any time soon...

What's even worse is Pep now takes pride in the fact that E8 posters all use the "Saterday" spelling because of an Alfred player/poster in November 2005. That was two years ago and yet it carries on...and seldom ceases to draw an inner chuckle.

Which reminds Pep of his year as sports editor of the Morrisville Chimes back in, well, let's just say a few years ago. Pep had a staff of ten sports writers working for him including one who struggled with the spelling of the middle day of the week, always submitting stories with "Wensday." Pep either had to cease giving him assignments for games on that particular day of the week or give him a way to remember. So Pep lied. He told the sports reporter that Congress, in its infinite wisdom, had, after much deliberation, decided that the middle day of the week was much too easy to spell and adopted a law to officially change the spelling of Wensday to a much more challenging "Wednesday." Pep never saw "Wensday" again in the stories of the sports reporter, who Pep understands went on to a career in cell phone sales and service.

22 out of 27 OAC posters have MUC covering a 23.5 spread in the game today...

Did they see either last year's 12 pt game (2 pt at half and 5 pt with 7 min to go) or did they see IC's passing game light them up a few weeks ago?

Their pick-em board proves that despite all their 'talk' of respecting SJF...when it comes down to it....they dont.

doesnt really matter...game gets played soon and we will see who is right...hope its 'us'
