Something has to be done about the Run D, back to back years of 400yds rushing for MUC vs SJF....

Jackson did sulk on the bench if he wasnt playing vs AU...

I wonder what Pep would of done if he went to the Pepband and started playing instruments vs AU....

There's just no telling what Pep might do if a Fisher player pulled a stunt like that with AU Pep Band. Pep usually mans the bass drum so the only instrument he could get his hands on would probably be an unplayed kazoo. Chances are pretty good that members of the band would take said player down and teach the player how to play the kazoo with his wazoo. Talk about tooting one's own horn!  ::)

Fisher did have a great season, congrats to everyone. And you know what? I seriously feel bad for everyone on the team that cannot avoid but be associated with that end zone thing.

1) You are not Chad Johnson.
2) You play in Division III.
3) You don't play on one of the top five teams in Division III (fine debatable, but stay with me)
4) Your team is losing by a million points.
5) You are an idiot.

So to everyone other than Jackson, really an impressive season. I was as frightened of Fisher this year as last year (maybe moreso) and after losing Robinson and Lang, that is no small feat.

One thing: You Fisher guys are really quick to proclaim something a rivalry. You and IC had a few close games in a few years and you play in conference and are two of the better teams in the conference. Even that doesn't quite make IC-SJF a rivalry. So to say that since you've played a team two years in a row in the playoffs, and lost both times, and one of those was a double monkey stomp, now you have a rivalry? I don't think so. A lot of teams play Mount in the playoffs every year, I don't see what's so special about this relationship.

aw max feeling like u might be taking a backseat?

If you think LK and the Mount players are going to forget about that, you've got another thing coming.

I doubt LK will forget.  It's the first time I've ever seen him laughing on the sidelines.

Ain't no biggie.

Congrats to SJU on a great season.  How does the old song go?  "See you in September..."

If me n' IC are in the backseat, you and Springfield [or Hartwick, depending on who is playing better, it seems] are in the trunk with your hands tied and duct tape over your mouths.

Jackson should be happy he's a senior and this was his last action on the college football field because despite the fact that LK may have laughed it off, I'd bet he'd have something special in mind for #18 next September for his idiotic actions after that score.  And the fact that a former teammate/coach sees nothing wrong with his actions is almost as inexcusable.

Fisher, best of luck in the offseason and I hope you guys can have a great off-season in the film room and weight room to make the opener a fun one against those Raiders next year.  Good season and good game guys.

Gosh, where does that leave us folks from Mayberry? Some members of the band thought their instruments would make a nice hood ornament. On Saxon Warriors!

Personally, I think a dude playing the drum is hilarious.  If I were a Fisher fan i'd be embarrassed.  If I were a Mount fan, I think it would be humorous.  As an innocent bystander, I think it's great.  I love when people make complete ass-for-brains moves like that.  It's good for conversation piece for the Post Patterns.  I kinda want to see a video clip of it, so please, anyone who might have one...youtube is screaming for you!!!

Regarding the 'rivalry'.  No offense to Fisher, as I think they have turned into a powerful program, but I don't think they have ANY rivalries...unless they play Rochester on a yearly basis...that could have some meaning to it.  Rivalries don't pop up over night.  But regardless, it's cool they get to play Mount Union for the next couple years and who knows, maybe they'll give a game.

Back to my egg nog and captain morgan and Christmas Carols.

Pep also would like to see the clip of the incident. Who knows, Jackson could have some potential in playing percussion with a pep band at SJF. Now if he'd only grabbed a cowbell and rung it....then we're talking funny. Real funny.

All right, great season Fisher and all the rest of the E8Nation. Pep needs to get to work in the kitchen. Pep is hosting the band and Habitat for Humanity members tomorrow for lunch....chicken parmesan in the works.

ok if Fisher were up or in a close game, it might be something funny...but dude your are getting double monkey stomped, there are no celebrations....

YOU WIN AS A TEAM AND YOU LOSE AS A TEAM!!!!!!!

DONE NUFF SAID....

Jackson deserves to be disciplined by the school 10 hours washing dishes in the dinning hall, would be a start

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Just got back from the game....kind of ran into a buzz saw there.  Another episode of "thoughts from a booby"......

First half Mount Union got off to a great start that we couldn't match but outside of the first 5 minutes or so of the first quarter we played them toe to toe for the remainder of the half..The score could have just as easily been 21-17 at the half, but their defense turned into God's anytime we got within scoring range.

Second half Mount Union made incredible adjustments both offensively and defensively...I think the D did a great great job for most of the first half but they were just tired the second half, credit to Mount Union on that as well.

Left the game before Jackson's touchdown moment, wanted to beat the traffic.

This rivalry talk, maybe I'm missing it and a Fisher poster used the word rivalry first, but I've seen the Mount posters referring to a future rivalry developing so take it easy on the "Fisher is quick to name something a rivalry card".  And in regards to Ithaca, if Fisher keeps winning some of those games they will probably have a higher winning percentage against Ithaca than Cortland does, so just something to nibble on.

I never ever ever ever ever ever ever want to hear the argument of "Mount doesn't try and blow teams out or style points, they just try and win" whenever Mount plays in a close game.  They do go for the throat as I've been saying all along, but can't blame them for that...Fisher would probably do the same if they could.

That game was pretty much worse case scenario for Fisher, could have been played closer but it wasn't....That's the way the ball bounces.  Good luck Mount Union, great job!

Would that be the traffic in the thriving metroplis of Alliance, Ohio?  It's big-time compared to my little old Ada, Ohio but come on now.

(Alternate post: Booby beats traffic, Jackson beats drums.)

I was wondering a little about "beating the traffic" myself.  I don't think there has been a traffic jam in Alliance, OH since there've been cars in Alliance, OH.  Did the leaving early have less to do with traffic and more to do with the scoreboard?
They should have practiced harder.

Frank congrats on a great broadcast, let me know next time your in schenectady and I will pay up on dinner, (hope you like burger king) jk...

raiderfan, can't blame people for leaving early esspecialy with the potential for a snow storm
