Frank, honestly we need to set up a formal meeting. This whole meeting up at the game is clearly not working out so well :)

Down 733-10 I had to head out --- it was like 2.1 degrees and I'd been up since 5am, with a 5 hr drive ahead of me. That's entirely too cold, and too long of a drive to sit around in while being Monkey Stomped x Infinity

''But we're not going to have those drums there next year,'' Mount Union coach Larry Kehres joked.

That's way too funny.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Actually, funny was my broadcast partner this afternoon, referring to the incident:

"I guess he wanted to go out with a bang."

Robby's been spending WAY too much time with me, it became obvious...

This announcement from BCS Headquarters....because there is no one else deserving to play for the national title, the BCS has selected Hawaii to take on Mount Union for the National Championship!
On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!
...Fight, fight for Alfred, A-L-F, R-E-D!

Scot Van Pelt just suggested ithaca to play maryland for the bcs championship

I think Faggiano needs to call ole Welchy at IC and get some advice on the 3-4...

They have Matt Becton who can be a nice two gap player and a Boon is a good sized DE, find another DE that has nice size and move Pollock to the outside backer.  They return 3/4 LBers as well...

They could use 2 safetys deep next year as Miranto and Stepnick both graduate...

Ok..now that the East smoke has cleared....I have to say.....Ithaca was the "beast of the east" in the play-offs.  Yah I know....easy to say looking at the score.  But, Ithaca's QB was the best Mount has seen since Rocky from Capital last year.  I know you all indicated he was "average" earlier in the season, but that kid came into his own at the end of the season, and during the play-offs.  He was that good.

I could not understand SJF's play calls.  I mean.....quit being stubborn.  You are successful (relatively speaking) throwing the ball....well DUH....THROW IT.  But NOPE.....he just kept thinking if he ran it THIS time...it would work.  Just stubborn, dumb, play calling.

And I said it on the OAC board...but I have to say it here.....the D-back #21 was a total punk.  He was frustrated all day because he couldn't cover anyone (Garcon), and then he tackles him out of bounds on the SJF sideline FIVE YARDS off the field.  I will not defend Garcon's celebration attitude when he gets into the endzone...but I KNEW he was fired up to to score in #21 after that late hit.

Both Mount and SJF lose a TON of starters next year.....the game starting the season will be a testament to who reloads better, what coaches get their players ready for the opener...etc....  I would guess that bodes well for Mount (oh...and they have Micheli and Kmic back).

East fans.....I know most of you hate Mount......you might respect them at some level (although most of you don't) but it's hard dealing with that 800 pound gorilla (by the way I HATE the Yankees), but for just the rest of this season.....Mount is the "East representative".  Go ahead......no one will ever say anything.....ride the bandwagon for two more games.  Then next year you can go back to hating Mount.   ;)

I don't hate Mount Union, I like the fact that Fisher gets to play against them.

+k to you sir to prove that love is in the air

It says on their website that Jackson is a senior for SJF.  But in other places it says he is a junior?  Anyone know?

Ive heard he has junior eligibility but with the way he was pouting on the sidelines vs AU and his antics yesterday I dont know what Vos will do with him?  Maybe sit him out next year vs MUC?

SITYS. All I have to say.

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

+k ss.  I don't hate Mount Union either.  I hope they come back to the East in future years.  It made IC's playoff trip memorable.  I'd prefer our one game with Mount to a few wins over lesser opponents.

Thanks for the compliments to Juvan too.  He certainly was a differently player in November than he was in September.
