How would you feel if it were revealed that the team that knocked you out of the playoffs in D3 this year had twelve starters using steriods?

Well, that's not quite the same is it? I would have posed the question: "How would you feel if you found out that steroids was a HUGE problem on EVERY team in DIII, and no one will ever know who all was doing them but let's name some names to keep the public happy." I couldn't really complain about my team getting knocked off in that scenario.

Do you know it is estimated that 3-6% of high school athleetes in major sports have taken performance enhancing drugs.  I wonder where they got the idea.

Yes, I addressed this in my post as the only thing about steroids I care about. So, please read the whole thing.

Where have you heard that Faggiano is leaving
team source...as they say

Team source, my ass. You better find me a link, boss. Because I don't believe it till I see it.

If it is true, what kind of coach is Faggiano?

You need to call the school and use your connections as the ATR reporter to get the story DC.

I've been trying to find it online first.

If that is the case- i am suprised----I thought for sure that they would give jellerson at least one year.

Relax Francis....it is true...did you think he was going to call you first?

JQV

Why give Jellerson a year when you can hire a coach with recruiting experience and recruiting connections in the places you need recruiting experience and recruiting connections?  In the end, coaching is all well and good but doesn't matter if you don't have talent.

Either Lombardi or JoePa said something to the effect of: "I always find my halftime speech is much more effective when my players are more talented than the oppossition."

SJFF82

Hey Dew...stop wasting your time...you are not going to find it online...he just announced his intentions late last night.  This is D3, not gonna find it on ESPNNEWS either...

fisheralum91

jose- no argument-i just know that current players wanted jellerson back and that he was adamant about keeping his job.

fisheralum91

so any thoughts on who fisher should hire as OC?

Rumor is Andy Hendel.  He was D-Coordinator from 91-96.  Had some nationally ranked defenses.  He went on to be D-Coordinator at Western Kentucky (under Harbaugh) and Cincinnatti.  I believe he is currently in Charlotte coaching a H.S. prep team.  He played ball at NC State and spent 2 years with the Dolphins in the 80's

fisheralum91

hmm.
He'll have his work cut out for him----graduation will hurt and that first game of the season is going to be hellish.

SJFF82

I am biased beacause he was one of my coaches and I used to train in the off-season with him, but he would be a huge addition to the staff.  The guy is intense, is sharp and most of all, is a leader.

What a challenge it would be for him to have to prepare a defense for MUC in his first game back in D3
